Ouch , that's gotta be rough . The upside is you have plenty of time for porn . Have a speedy recovery champ

The sadness of that article is summed up by this at the end : I felt a great surge of relief when I retired. Fowler = Douchebag cunt .

The Fowler hate taking over the Le Saux appreciation , really ?

Never knew till today and on reading that article that Le Saux was involved with the club in an official capacity . One of the most memorable Chelsea games I recall is spanking United at Old Trafford 0-3 in the 01' season I think it was . Le Saux captained that day and absolutely terrorized them for the most part from the left flank . Typified the brash , dynamic, no-fear approach to the game that the club was known for in the late 90's . Proper Chels . The club should really make an effort in making these positions known , a simple profile on the website would do . Its pleasing to hear that past greats like Le Saux are club ambassadors .

While there have been instances I've been dumbfounded when Kalou has been picked ahead of Sturridge - who was on form during the Cup games and reserves etc , the acquisition of another central striker by the club would be deterrent to a young player's hopes . The smart thing to do then was of course , sending him on loan which worked wonders . Here's hoping he gets a run out this season . If its more of the same frontline - he's certain to go out on loan again ., that'll show Sturridge of our faith in him , even after performing well .
-
Really believe it was Carlo who sanctioned him out on loan while expertly instigating a record deadline day bid for Torres ? Carlo had 4 strings hooked on his arms and shoulders , the entire time .

"I http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_7050520,00.html His attitude never ceases to amaze despite being constantly dumped away by the club .

Some of AVB training & tactic leaked

Never used Drogba and Torres together during training either , not once according to eyewitnesses . Always on opposite teams during the 9 v 9 drills . If that carries on into the season , it'll be a direct , robust 4-3-3 again . Playing to the team's strengths . -
Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club
ruggedknot replied to .Cee's topic in Transfer Archives
Fucking hell , after all those summers of speculation and clear intent on getting Aguero we aren't even making any noises to land him . The way the first XI is setup right now , Aguero would be perfect as a roaming forward starting from the right . If there ever was a snap decision to be made in our all-too-well-settled squad , I'd take Kalou and Anelka out and bring Aguero and Sturridge into the fold directly . Aguero is only 23 too , the resale value on him alone works out from a financial standpoint as well . Of the impulsive Roman buys , Aguero should've been the one . -
John Terry: I want to stay on at Chelsea... as manager!

I agree , in the current crop of players Lampard comes across as the most eloquent and intelligent personality around . It helps that these guys have been playing and been managed by some of the most renowned coaches in world football - experienced in both clubs and countries , something JT and Frank both attest to whenever the topic comes up and we already know they are doing their UEFA C badges . Frank should know a little of Spanish too from his past relationship , something that's crucially important in coaching these days - being multi-lingual. Lampard has the highest IQ in the English national squad from what I remember , when that stat came out , its hardly fathomable to get the entire roster of players in the league tested for their IQ hah. -
Mrs.Murdoch for the win lmao

He is certainly taking the high road while not exactly show it , clever .

Good shout ! I just caught wind of the article through twitter and it was an exhaustive insightful read , as is the rest of the entries in the Swiss Ramble . Got on here and you had already posted it . There is another good article on his take of how Chelsea plan on avoiding the FFP sanctions and the steps taken for it in an equally brilliantly researched and tactful article which is a good read . Chelsea's FFP challenge

No such thing at all in the footballing world, transfers and deals for prospects happen all the time regardless of shuffling of management/ midway through a season etc . One could argue Villas-Boas is getting a good reading of the squad right now but filling up obvious gaping holes to tweak the squad to compete on all fronts - better now than shelling out ridiculous amounts in the last weeks when we're left with no choice . Being Chelsea , everybody is out to extort us already , no need to leave it till the end.

Don't think we've ever had the right to first refusal with Athletico , for all the years we've supposedly been chasing him . I'm fairly certain bids have been made but kept on the down low , like the Mario Gomez bid in Jan which nobody saw coming or knew about . Besides , its a different scenario now , Athletico aren't the ones doing the selling , Aguero has basically driven to the market on his own . His release clause doesn't hold outside Spain so its a question of the highest bidder and the best terms etc etc . For my money , he's bound to City unless we make a strong offer. -
For being the most aesthetic , user-friendly , well-rounded and managed Chelsea forum around which has plenty of great content , good insightful members and by extension - opinions among plenty of other positive traits for a community , the blatantly juvenile behaviour and the silly quarrelling that's going on for years now sure does spoil it for many and more importantly , new users who are put off easily . A real shame .

Says a lot when one of the most technically gifted players we have in our squad is a 30 year old who was signed a year ago from Liverpool . As opposed to most of our wide and direct players of which there are a few , he is one who actually has a clue when it comes to doing something with the ball . His weighted through balls are a joy to watch if you're a lover of the sport . I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss him , despite his age playing at the position he is usually deployed in .Villas Boas certainly trusts him going by recent quotes and that's an encouraging sign for me .

Its the way AMC do things unfortunately , and it works somehow . Cable shows usually last for 10-12 epsiodes , max and that only lasts for about 3 months at most . Its a long wait after . Speaking of another recurring show CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM started last week as well ! Woahh that's a stretch haha , I honestly think no show has ever , nor will ever match the vast creative expanse of The Wire . It was a one-off , the sheer scale of every facet of Baltimore was utterly brilliant in the way it was portrayed . The city is the character in The Wire as opposed to Walter White and Jesse in Breaking Bad , which is utterly brilliant in its own way . Two entirely different shows , I suppose you can only measure shows against each other in terms of excitement , which Breaking Bad certainly triumphs in . The Wire requires a more dedicated approach to viewing and one has to pay attention , but ultimately rewarding at the end. The Wire for me , greatest show period . Kicks Sopranos ass , as good as that was , as well . Oz was brilliant as well , HBO has made produced some fantastic shows , including Six Feet Under which was just - whoa .
-
Should gift-wrap Kalou too while we're at it .
-
In all the hooplah with the pre-season and transfer speculation , just remembered that Breaking Bad is back today in its 4th season ! If anybody isn't already watching it , you're missing out chaps .
-
You're probably right, going by Mancini's recent quotes What a bummer too . We've been chasing Aguero for about 3/4 summers now and the one where he finally decides to pack up and leave – we aren't even in the running as it stands. For me , its a no-brainer , Anelka much as I like the kind of versatile forward play he brings to the squad is getting old and could find a place at the MLS . Kalou well , is Kalou , could get some resale on him. Aguero and Sturridge , direct replacements for Anelka and Kalou for me . Stuzza lets face it is likely going to get a wide position as he's always going to be behind Drogba and Torres in the pecking order, that is if he doesn't leave on loan again . Anyway getting back on topic : Courtois : http://translate.goo...a0-44bf8109e6ca http://translate.goo...o-stallen.dhtml
-
The official webby finally gets around it : COURTOIS UNDERGOING MEDICAL Reliable Belgofoot had this to say on twitter : I was inclined to seeing him on the bench rightaway after Hilario and Turnbull’s recent quirks against Pompey . Moreover ,our interest in Begovich in the Jan window goes to show our faith in the backups we have to Cech . If Big Pete is out injured , we’re totally f**ked . Ah well , good for Courtois’ development I suppose. Now if only the suits had a brainwave to try and figure out how to include Aguero into the negotiations .

Press Conference : Part 2 : Edit : Just realized this is the Thailand thread and the boys have landed in Malaysia . Still fits I suppose .

Fairly certain it is , he's got two twitter a/c's if I remember correctly . An official one and a more informal one . Strange or hard to believe , I know.
