Was just going to type that we have so much time for them to rest, that there is no way in hell, our best player will be rested. Tough game this. Anybody know when the Leicester game will be put, I don't see a big reason for its rescheduling. FA cup for them? And even so, can't they get one game on a Wednesday?
-
Thing is , Jose doesn't want to rush Zouma in these big games, but the irony is he has been playing against Ibra for 2 years. And despite not having the same pressure as he would have at Chelsea, he still has managed to get a header, unlike Cahill and Terry yesterday.
-
Atleti have always been his fans. Expecting him to go there for 15-20-25 million, depending on who they part with(if any). Him, Griezmann, Arda, Koke, pretty nice midfield.
-
One of Liverpool or Spurs is gonna take a hammering today. In terms of overall play, not only result. It's not going to be a draw.
-
Given the fact we need the three points and we have a , week's break after that, no big changes will be made. I think that Willian should start, ahead of Oscar, at the AMC position, which I highly doubt, but a man can dream. We need to overrun them with attacks if they park the bus. Early goal would be ideal. Zouma in for me, as Lukaku has more pace to burn against Cahill.
-
Wow. I am sorry, but claiming that Reus is overrated is shambles. It would sound abussive, but please, don't try to tell this to anyone ever again. He is not a one match wonder, he just enjoyes pacey teams. A team that transitions deffence in to attack pretty fast, rather than slow. And yesterday was no different. BVB were slow in making chances. They were winning games, because they didn't stop pressing the ball. Now with the drop in confidence and everything, they are lost. They will get relegated. Plus he's back from major injury. Pogba and Reus overrated, haven't had a laugh like that in a while. lol

Varane or John Stones. My choices if we should be buying a new CB. But with John Terry staying, I think that we would not be getting a new World Class centre back.
-
Dream signings: Reus, Pogba(if need be), Varane/Laporte or any other CB; Clyne( I woud love it if Ivanovic made way for Clyne, who for me is a great right back.) Outs: Mikel only. I think RLC and Ake, both have enough iin the tank to replace Obi, do what he does and be competitive to Matic. Especially Ake, who has bags of stamina in him.
-
From what I've seen from him, he shines with his pace and stamina, so I think he would. Will he? I don't know. Doubt we'd even sign him.
-
Explosive winger, able to play anywhere. He played behind Sakho adding a lot of pace to their attack. Imo, he seems a good squad player. He can give both Oscar and WIllian a kick-up the arse.
-
Di Marzio just said he is signing.. right now.
-
Yes, definetly, it is just that Hull don't show any fight in them. Sean Dyche and his Burnley always give 100 %, even if they lose. I think that is the difference. I am hoping for an upset, from the bottom of my heart, but I really doubt it.
-
Dunno. A player , if he has the skill set like Marco does, can play everywhere if given the freedom. Rotating CAM/ LW with Hazard isn't something that can't happen, considering that Oscar is now doing it. You are right, though, maybe we won't get any more wingers.
-
They got Hull. Unless they park the bus, it should be a cruising match. But, I think that if Ivory Coast are to reach the final, then Yaya and Bony would be out with 1 or 2 weeks more(after the final), depending on the rest they are given.
-
What? Do you watch Marco regularly? In terms of defending he is no Oscar, but he works a lot. And he was regularly a RW at Gladbach, he plays well with both feet. Only things is that his right is stronger, hence why Klopp made him an even greater Inside Forward on the left wing.
-
I was actually thinking about that, that even with CL we don't have the FA to tighten our schedule and coming out of that competition has its pluses. I think we may see some activity, but as Wenger would say( Oh, God): "Only if the right deal comes."
-
I don't know but @ArsenalStatmr, proper lad. I love this guy. (sarcasm)
-
I'm going to aim high and say that our next three games have to be wins, if the draw against City was meant to be a draw. Aston Villa find it difficult to score, Everton struggle and Burnley are good, but we can still beat them. Hope for the best.
-
Anybody else wonder if we will sign a second player. I didn't know where to actually post this. We have a short squad and in terms of Attacking midfielders we currently have 4.(5 if you consider Fabregas in terms of rotation) Still Jose said, if 1 player is to leave he will be replaced, if 2 are to leave, then two will be bought. Meaning, we are waiting on the Schurrle deal to happen or we are not signing anyone?
-
Trust me, when I say this. He won't go to Bayern. He had the chance for that to happen earlier in his career. Why would he chose to go there now? Plus he said, Bayern will never have him. Problem is his favourite team is Barcelona. Other than that he likes Man. United. So, Imo depending on finishing positions in the league, I think us, City, and United can offer him what he wants and Real also.
-
So he will leave Dortmund to a big club, only to win titles, and he'll go to Arsenal. He has never been in it for the money, but he is an ambitious player, so I kind of doubt this is true.
-
I remember,I shit my pants when he tackled Aguero in the penalty box. It was absolute perfection. Im fuckin lovin him.
-
He has BENCHED Cahill. Jose having balls putting him on in two of the most important games of the season was the proof for that. Top notch stuff from here and against Liverpool. The thing that won us the point is his enormous jump to clear the ball, when it was landing on Lamps/ Milner's foot. I don't want Cahill to smell the starting line-up now. If and only if rotation is needed.
-
RLC making it a 3:1 win with a bombastic long shot is the dream for me!
-
In today's market we are getting him for a reasonable price and after all the great transfers of the summer, people shouldn't really complain about this one. Have your doubts, but saying that Jose has to answer for a transfer, IF it goes bad, seems silly to me.
