  1. What a rebound, very smart from Eden. Wake up Eden!!
  2. Don't forget the emotional aspect, DD loves Chelsea and he wants this soooo bad, can see that mental power giving him 20% more on the pitch today. And him being an experienced leader on the pitch can calm other young guys down when things don't go our way or are trying too hard. (hopefully not).
  3. Your chance to impress us Cuadrado, come on play your real game!!!
  4. Also a good decision to play Courtois, he missed the final vs Spurs, so it's important for his development at Chelsea to play a title deciding match. From a sentimental point of view, Cech, JT and DD to seal us the title would've been beautiful. But this is the best decision because Tibo is our future.
  5. Drogba is a good choice for today's match: leader, set piece monster and target man, experienced trophy winner and played well in the second half of Leicester. Against a parked bus of Crystal Palace today, Drogba is a better option than Remy.
  6. Have a feeling Hazard will get both this year
  7. "When we play against Chelsea I say the impression is we play against a small team with very good players,’ he said. ‘Every person is different. For me, a big team which has possession of the ball must try to score more goals, must try always to win. It is different ways of thinking."Fair play? F*ck off Pelligrino http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3064678/Manuel-Pellegrini-labels-Chelsea-small-team-Jose-Mourinho-claimed-Manchester-City-docked-points-breaching-FFP-guidelines.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
  8. Yeah we knew it was likely to happen, but when the moment finally arrives, it will feel like a big relieve. 5 years of waiting and we are finally champions again. - Take my fam to a good place for diner. - Follow the celebrations/interviews of the players and staff. - Rewatch all highlights of all matches of the season with a big big smile. - Celebrate here on TC. - Go to other fans forums and troll them with "boring boring Chelsea" (just kidding)
  9. At the first half of the season it was very close between Matic, Cesc, Costa and Eden. Over the whole season it is: (based on consistency) Eden (my vote) JT Azpi Cesc Matic Courtois Costa
  10. Yeah thats's why I can't see Eden going to Real Madrid as long Ronaldo is there. (One of the reasons) Can you imagine Eden becoming Ronaldo's "bitch" like Bale and Benzema? Give him all te scoring oppertunities, all the penalties, if he dribbles too much Ronaldo will be angry, constantly pleasing him with compliments in the media. Ronaldo is like a crying baby, always crying for attention. The nightmare for any star attacking footballer.
  11. Hmm I have not followed his contract talks. But I can not imagine the club selling him: - our ownly England international - two of our English players left (JT) - homegrown - experienced in big matches - still young for cb, 29 years old - very reliable in defensive systems - don't seems to be a trouble maker - set piece weapon, like the assist to JT last game He regained his form and has been very good since that Westham game, recently he had some Motm performances for us, like last season. It's debatable whether he is good enough to be a starter, but as a 3rd choice CB he is very safe.
  12. Confidence and pressure are the big issues, he doesn't have the close control of Eden and Willian but he certainly can dribble. He completed (one of the) most dribbles in serie A, can't see him suddenly becoming a noob at it. Hopefully we can see him expressing himself in the last games of the season, like he did yesterday when we were 3-1 up.
  13. Yes DD was horrible in the first half but very good at the second half. His overall play improved a lot after his goal.
  14. Ok back on topic, since I think this thread is to discuss transfers of our team. I want to discuss about the "likely outs" part. Cech - think this one is for sure (99%) Mikel - Zouma has basically replaced him as the lock on the door in the final minutes and the backup for Matic. Think he will leave, with his final EPL medal (90%) Drogba - to go to the MLS league or to become our 4th striker player/coach? He confirmed he will play on after this season, at Chelsea or not. (70%) Remy - great back up, but struggled with injuries over the season and especially when Diego was injured, he was too. Can see the club selling him if a good bid comes in and buying a real rival for Diego. (50%) Filipe Luis - win trophies and stay or go away and play? As long JT is our starter, I can imagine Mou won't drop Azpi at LB. Those two have builded an understanding which is vital for our defense. So it would just be repeat of this season for him, unfortunately, as I am a big fan of him. Going back to Atletico as a deal for Koke? (50%) Oscar - I think he has a lot of value on the transfer market, the #10 of Brazil and Chelsea, 23 years old and not bad looking. If a "Luiz bid" comes in I can see Mourinho considering selling him, since he doesn't trust Oscar in big away games, and Oscar failed 3 seasons in a row at the last part of the season. (40%) Ramires - "my ramires is back" normally I don't think Mourinho will sell him as he loves Ramires. But if Ramires is pushing for a move himself due the lack of first team appearances, I can see the club selling him for 15-20M (30%) Other than the above mentioned, I can't see anyone leaving. Maybe a loan for some youngsters. What you guys think?
  15. Depay already played under LvG during the WC of last summer. Fighting for trophies and CL or fighting for top 4 and play in the Europa league, easy decision. Bale won't be cheap, but I don't think he's happy at Madrid. Think Madrid will sell if they can find another galactico like Reus/Eden (no chance) to replace him. Depay Rooney Bale Gundogan Herrera Carrick Shaw Hummels Jones Clyne De Gea Not too bad.
  16. “Obviously there is only me, JT and Didier who have been here for the last decade, so you can say this is a new generation of Chelsea. Hopefully, we will confirm the title on Sunday and then this team will continue to win things.” (Cech) Poor Mikel, he's been here for 9 years but Cech just forgot him.
  17. A fit Gundogan is exactly the player we need, Matic-Cesc-Gundogan would be a superb midfield. I must laugh when I read that United made a bid of £40M for Lloris.
  18. Should've even been 20 points, without the FA campaign.
  19. Two legends scored today in JT and Drogba, and then we have our Barcelona hero Ramires finishing the game off with a typical Ramires worldy, I am a happy man! Willian again very good, created so many chances and what a pace! He even beats people at the wings now.
  20. Mikel playing in his natural position (no 10)
