Still think it will be either him or Klopp or Ancelotti(if he get sacked) or Pep that will manage us after Jose.
-
To improve this team is actually very hard because some of the players are already one of the best in the world in their position GK-LOL unless we sign Neuer RB-probably already got the best RB in BPL and Dave can be there when needed CB-Very few top class are for sale unless we get the likes of Benatia and Varane. Hummels is overrated and hated by Dortmund fans now LB-Luis and Dave are fine CDM-Matic beast, unless we get Vidal no way to improve CM-Fabregas great-unless we get Iniesta or David Silva again no way to improve probably LM-unless we get Ronaldo Hazard will always be there CAM-Oscar is good, again doubt there are many better players for sale RM-Reus now there is where we can improve ST-Costa is fine So apart from Reus the team is pretty much impossible to improve.
-
Considering now they are starting to get forward a lot more in modern game, probably... No one want Hazard to be more greedy but more clinical, don't think you can tell the difference though. Inevitable once Ronaldo declines or Bale/James isn't up to it. Doesn't matter we can replace him as long as we spend the money wisely and not do a Liverpool/Spurs style transfer. For example getting in Reus now and there will be virtually NO DIFFERENCE, getting in Bale now also would result in no difference at all.
-
It is ironic though that you thought we did well against City, using this exact same tactic against 10 men for the whole match. Today we actually tried to dominate until the last 20 mins when we went back into Mou bus parking mode.
-
Reus next summer will do with Hazard on the right and Oscar in the middle.
-
Not often enough for me, for example against Arsenal because we won no one is talking about it but he actually shouldn't have blazed a chance over before Costa got his goal. I know it is a small thing and he is a wonderful but can't they all improve? No one is perfect. What I don't understand is why people get upset for pointing out an area of his game he can improve.
-
Getting shit from Dortmund fans atm and many want him sold for being 'mistake prone'. Stay clear?
-
So...when does he become the best GK in the world?
-
If only you understood the whole sentence instead of just focusing on the negative bit.
-
1st time I see you criticize Mou hehe
-
That is why he is still behind Bale and not getting 20 goals a season.
-
Obviously...that is why they won at the Bridge last season, twice away at Bernabeu in 12 months now, drew at Barca...etc. With far less superior players too I might add.
-
Best manager in the world is up to debate, everyone got their own opinions just accept it. Simeone-getting a team who should be finishing in top 4 to get past 2 of their best club sides in history is amazing achievement Mourinho-winning the league in many different countries and CL Klopp-same as Simeone but atm struggling so don't think he is in contention anymore Pep-always make amazing team play good, coached the best squad in history arguably If we are being honest Jose was the best in 2010, Pep 11, Klopp 12, Heynckes 13, Simeone 14. Ancelotti and Del Bosque some where along too.
-
As good as he is, his finishing is terrible. He will be getting 20 goals a season if he improves his finishing. It is all good doing it against a team from East Europe but against the very best he is never clinical enough. Just one aspect he needs to improve on, dribbling skill is amazing though, probably best in the world atm on par with Messi.
-
Sorry he is a beast, most underrated defender in the league and today hasn't changed that. Ref being a cunt is not his fault
-
Doesn't matter against some League 2 side we will still win 5-0 by playing the likes of Solanke and Baker
-
Naaa unlucky today for me, last min equaliser and fat idiot ref. City away was the most disappointing, bus parking from min 1 and continues, that was 2 points lost by him. You could argue Schalke home too but again that was mostly Drogba's fault and we were unlucky to draw then.
-
Also hardly any midfield always play good in big games, I can think of a few over the years and now. Modric, Lampard, Gerrard, David Silva, Alonso...etc. If you want the most complete midfield in Europe though try Vidal but he is like the only 1 in the world. So really just be happy we got Fab and accept that he is a big game bottler aka going missing when it get tough. Doesn't matter though, just keep on getting 20 assists for us every season and it is fine.
-
Don't know, if he scores a own goal and we lose 1-0 in a CL final
-
Chelsea 5-0 QPR, City 4-0 MU next week for me.
-
Yep imo he isn't exactly that much better than Mata or fitter at tracking back. What he is though is FAR SUPERIOR going forward and he is more intelligent imo.
-
Football is a funny game, if he didn't score that goal and the result was a draw I am sure he would get shit throw at him now. What we can conclude from this performance though is he is still a great 3RD CHOICE STRIKER. He can play one or two games at 100% per month or so therefore he is fine for us. legend though <3
-
Fabregas is not a big game player, he is a great player who can DOMINATE AGAINST SMALLER TEAMS though. Nothing wrong with that, in fact he was brought in to do that as we struggled against small teams last season. If he was that complete midfielder Barca wouldn't have sold him in the 1st place. He is still one of the best midfield in BPL, just that he isn't up to it in big games for some reason. It was the same at Arsenal and Barca, no idea why anyone can debate against that. It is a negative though and anything negative against one of our best player= abuse immediately
-
We pulled it off because we had probably a few of the luckiest matches in CL history along with some moments of genius from Ramires,Drogba and Cech. Those matches conclude nothing at all, if we had a rematch a few months later I think we would have got rape by that Barca team playing the exact same team again. Yep Ramires goal was like I said once in a life time go, it will never happen again.
-
are we using our 2 games against them as template for success in defending? the games where they hit the post, miss 1 on 1 and really should be scoring probably 7-8 goals over 2 matches? Or do you mean something else? 2 decades what LOL? Irrelevance. Jose Madrid also got messed 5-0 a few years ago by Pep Barca. I am using the situation ATM. Also drawing 0-0 against 2 small bus parking clubs is a lot different from drawing for being defensive in big matches. If we want to play this game we also did it against Norwich...etc last season. I am not criticizing Jose or his tactic, I just think it is time for him to change a bit with his mentality and approach. Maybe lets get 2 goals lead from now on and park the plane after.
