At worst lets say he turns into a Suarez, who to say there won't be another Aguero/Benzema/Diego Costa...etc around during then? Immobile for example might develop into someone better than Lewandowski in 2-3 years too and we could always go for him, I think he will probably be on around £50k at Dortmund atm, double his wages and who knows... I agree that Lukaku got the potential but he isn't the only striker in the world, there will always be other options. And I don't think the club value him as high as some of us do, otherwise he would be here now like Courtois. The fact that the club is seeing as just another Mata/Luiz, someone who is good but disposable if the manager said so says it all about the club's opinions toward him. For example if Hazard demands him or Jose leaves tomorrow I believe the club will choose to sack Jose right away.

1. I doubt a big club pay big money will allow this. It is not like we are selling some reject like Barca used to do. At best it is gonna be something like 10-20% of the sell-on fee if he leaves or something. 2. I doubt he will ever want to comeback if the club is still under Jose's management Only Barca/Real are able to do this and it is mostly with youngsters, rarely does any outgoing transfer get the clause.

Everton, maybe Arsenal and Spurs, Dortmund until they signed Immobile recently but could still go for a 2nd striker too, Inter, Milan, Wolfsburg, Valencia and that is about it I could imagine. Well for top/decent clubs anyway, I doubt he would want to to somewhere below like Southampton.

Hopefully not Torres and Mandzukic instead.

1. He said we are DEFINITELY NOT INTERESTED IN FAB if you bothered to look at his tweets earlier 2. He only got 5 followers 3. Costa might not be done on the 10th, it is not definite yet. Even if it is the likes of BBC, Sky are reporting it so it isn't that much of a surprise. 4. He DOES NOT WORK FOR CHELSEA, AS STATED IN HIS BIO Next time please do some proper research mate, might as well put Tancredi next too

Courtois is already done, unless Madrid just spent money on a 30 years old backup GK which would be incredibly pointless. Well either that or he is getting sold permanently to someone not Atletico, which I doubt is the case. Zouma will go on loan apparently, Costa/Filipe/Tiago and Fab will all sign imo soon. I know that is why I believe Jose WILL BE SACKED if we are not around top or max of 3-4 points off the top. Even then it has to be because Arsenal went on an amazing run like at the start of this season or City doing that too. If we are 3-4 points off because we lost/draw to the likes of Hull and Villa like this season I think he will be sacked by then. Yep me too, so excited can't wait.

If only people stops posting that troll account...

Actually since this is the case, maybe Lukaku should give it at least 1 more year maybe. Who knows Jose might even get sacked by Jan if we aren't around top of the table. The new manager might help him change his fortune. Yes a lot of if and but however it is possible.

Him being an idiot most of last season have something to do with it I imagine

Apparently she is a gold digger according to some people. Btw it pretty much means goodbye as I doubt they would starting to say that randomly if she is just moving to London for a couple of days/weeks.
-
Yes but if someone is willing to pay over the odd(30m is way too much for him) then why not? a player with terrible technique like him will never ever cost more than this amount. His value will only go down from here as his stamina(his main strength) get worse as he grows older.
-
Yeah it is haha sorry mixed up a bit between brands and all that.

We always have 2 sides on here on this issue haha, 1 is the people who want him to get into the 1st team no matter what and will defend him in every single possible way they could find such as he didn't get his chance, he was forced to go on loan, his words were twisted by the media, Mou's fault for not trusting him...etc On the other hand, there is also a side where people just want him out because of his words and not actually caring what he could do on the pitch. Examples include he talks a lot, he is arrogant, he is not good enough for Chelsea...etc Personally I think both sides are true, he is currently unhappy with his Chelsea status and will probably want to leave if it continues like this. However, people saying he is not good enough is correct to some extent too, if he was that good Atletico would have demanded him in a trade for Costa straight away or there would have been more clubs interested in him. The fact that even Everton are reluctant to sign him permanently for 20-25m says it all, they definitely have enough money to do it now if they wanted but if they are sure he is gonna be a top class striker soon they wouldn't be so hesitated especially since good strikers are very expensive in today's market. I think the fair way to end this debate is for him to comeback to the club this summer, fight for his place with Costa/Torrea/Ba or whoever is still at the club by then and proves his worth. IF it doesn't work out he can leave in Jan on loan again/permanently like Kevin, Mata did this year. That way he won't have any excuses such as not getting his chances, and people hating him wouldn't have the opportunity to criticize his lack of willingness to fight. If he is as good as many said, he will do well and obviously stays. If he isn't good then he will see his chance limited and eventually be sold. So imo the best way to end this debate is to welcome him back this summer, give him the last chance to fight for his career here and if he left after that no one can blame anybody else.

They finished paying the debt last year, last summer in theory Arsenal had 70m+ to spend(their director's words) but Wenger waited until the last min to sign Ozil for 50m. They also recently signed a new kit deal with Nike a few months ago where they are getting like 50-60m per year from that too. Basically in theory they really have at least 100m to spend this summer if they wanted, but like you said Wenger won't do it.
-
That is why it is important we announce this deal as soon as possible. Once it is announced he is officially a Chelsea player and Arsenal cannot do anything with that clause anymore
-
And Filipe as well
-
No he cannot do anything of those things, just happen to be a passage in a great team. Very overrated got destroyed by Bale in CL final so must be a bit shit
-
TV channels all over the world(real and imaginary) are saying Fab to Chelsea is a done deal
-
Next just need BBC Chinese to confirm it too
-
So if he has a great tournament Arsenal can comeback and pay the clause, making us or Barcelona not being able to do anything? As long as it is not inks on paper or no official announcement, all words of agreement can be revoked as Willian shows.
-
Vidal but since he is not possible to get Pogba will do, but then he is also near impossible to get so we will just have to make do with Fabregas
-
Thread can close now, sign for Barcelona for 19m euros
-
He is a CAM though and not a CM like Fab
-
What a bargain, was expecting 30m or so
