Yeah we offered them what they wanted AFTER they had sold Alves and Bonucci, We could bid 100m now and it will be rejected because no club with the pedigree of Juventus would sell three of it's best performers during the same window. Rudiger was fantastic tonight, even looked good with the ball at his feet. Most importantly though, unlike Cahill, he looked really strong in his 1v1 duels against Chilean players so that's very promising to see. I think there is something there in Rudiger with which Conte can work with.

Our scouts also saw something in the likes of Baba Rehman, Piazon, Miazga, Zhirkov etc. Rudiger is a very rash defender not to mention he is very right-footed so I can't really see how would he be able to displace Cahill for the LCB slot. I'd rather keep and develop Zouma than to go for Rudiger personally but that's just me, feel free to disagree.

Ask any Roma fan and he'll tell you that Fazio is their best CB followed by Manolas.
