If Palmieri is saying we have contacted James then we most probably aren't interested in signing him.
-
Would really like this signing but aren't AS very hit and miss when it comes to Real Madrid news?
-
I don't even know why we are wasting our time on Sandro, Juve are not selling him in a million years.

Errr because I've seen them and Bakayoko play? All of the players I've mentioned have not only got better passing but also better control, better technique, and greater awareness of their surroundings while most are even better dribblers. Defensively, Baka is no doubt better than all of them but we already got Kante for that and it's not like they are Pirlo defensively. Most of the big teams have dominated us and made us look ordinary, Why? Because we don't have midfielder who could knit play together or could receive passes from his team-mates under pressure. Is Baka going to change that? the Baka I saw for Monaco certainly is not going to change that. Do you honestly think we could dominate a technically adequate midfield with Baka and Kante? I've got my doubts about it. Btw Bona are Seri are no Kante defensively but they can no doubt hold their own. Why is Conte so desperate to get Baka instead of Fabinho? Well, you'll have to call Antonio and ask him that but ask any Monaco fan or a french league fan and they'll tell you who is better between Fabinho and Baka. Lastly, I do have absolute faith in our coach and once Baka puts on that Blue jersey, he'll have my 110% support obviously and I've already said that I would gladly eat humble pie if Baka proves me wrong but until then, I can't help but feel that we could've done better than Baka.
-
Yeah, this ain't happening.
-
I really hope that I get to eat humble pie on this transfer come next May, However, I've seen Baka play multiple times and I'm gutted that he is the only option we have seriously pursued. He's a decent player with good potential, it'll be interesting to see how he develops under Conte.

Off the top of my mind Fabinho, Naby Keita, Seri, Bonaventura, Amadou Diawara, Milinkovic-Savic, Paredes, Strootman all would make better partners for Kante than Baka. Didn't even name Nainggo or Verratti who I know are impossible to get
-
Nainggolan and Tolisso were just examples my friend. They were the sort of players we needed and not another defensive minded player lacking in ball playing ability. Baka will improve but how much? Only time will tell, for our sake, I hope he improves exponentially.
-
Kante is a good all rounder but his 'monster' aspects are still his defensive ones and that's perfectly alright. When you have such a beast defensively who is good on the ball too but struggles when put under pressure and impose himself on the game, you try to balance it out by partnering him with a proper baller or another all-rounder but one who excels in the technical side of the game more ala Tolisso or Nainggolan. Whenever I have watched Baka this season, he has looked very basic and ordinary on the ball and as if that wasn't enough, he has got the tendency to think of himself as the Hazard of midfielders and starts dribbling in dangerous areas only to lose the ball and leave his team vulnerable. Baka has his qualities obviously, only a fool would say otherwise but my gripe is that his skill set is too identical to that of Kante and our team is already short of technical players and with the additions of Baka and Lukaku, I can't see that changing anytime soon. Imagine Eden trying to play one twos with Baka and Romelu, it would be painful but so funny as well
-
Meh, Baka is really underwhelming on the ball. We were supposed to find a better baller than Kante but we went onto sign an inferior ball player who lacks vision, range and loses the ball in dangerous areas.
-
What? They are reliable as far I know! I even remember them being one of the first to report that Eden was coming here.
-
Yeah, RMC reported about Real's bid for Mbappe and they are well respected in France. Also, Monaco have already sold Bernardo and will sell Mendy, Fabinho, Baka and possibly even Sidibe in the near future so they can absolutely afford to hold on to Mbappe for another season.
-
Don't really care about him, Never been a huge fan of Sanches.
-
He has his heart set on joining Real Madrid when he does leave Monaco which will not be this season as most reports indicate that Monaco will reject all advances from clubs trying to sign him this summer. Real Madrid already has had a bid of 115m pounds rejected. I just can't see us competing with Real Madrid when it comes to transfer fees and even if we do, Mbappe's preference will be Real not us and all this will only come to pass if the unlikely scenario of Monaco agreeing to sell their most coveted asset this summer occurs. With Hazard it was clear that he player and club (Lille) knew that it was time to move on and we were only competing with the English giants. Mbappe is nailed on to be Perez's next shiny galactico which is not the worst thing ever as it would mean Real keeping their dirty paws off our Eden.
-
Tolisso prefers Bayern.
-
Tolisso has apparently chosen Bayern ahead of us I wanted Tolisso so bad this summer. Why can't Bayern be after Baka instead of Tolisso...?
-
This ain't happening people, no point in getting your hopes up.
-
Why would Sandro leave Juve? Wishful thinkong on part of our board if they think they can prize away one of Juve's best players from them. We should be spending our time and energy on someone like Mendy who is attainable.
-
Two months out ain't the worst possible thing tbh..... Hopefully he'll be back by August.
-
Thankfully A Bola are shit.

Chelsea close in on Tiemoue Bakayoko

Juventus close to finalizing a deal with Sampdoria for Patrik Schick. Could prove to be Dybala-esque signing in the long run for them, Schick is phenomenal talent.
