Its really good to know, if the reason why conte drop luiz, is actually not because luiz get injured or something Because its really nice to know, we actually have manager, not just because he understand whats wrong with his team, how to improve defence and drop really senior player that actually almost guarantees starter. But also give huge confidence and trust to young player for play not just in big game but probably can consided as one of the most important and decisive match of our season and conte's career as our manager

His best performance so far. I know he should do much better on finishing and decision making, but tonight for me he was game changing. His run, his movement from midfield was really excellent today. Make manu defence confuse, distract their focus from morata. His presence on the midfield area also the best i seen from him so far. Finally he didnt make weird or sometimes even look like amateur mistake and being usefull there, not to forget he bullied matic because his presence and more mobile as midfielder. Hopefully its sign from him, finally he can start to prove he is really good addition to our squad

Really important win. Credit for player to play with such commitment, determination and willingness to winning this match. Is it just me or not, it seems trio midfield of kante, baka and fabregas play much better. Eventhough i know mourinho team tonight almost just sitback and waiting, not really try to press our midfield. But to see our midfield improve much not as bad as before, its really pleased me

but in reality, im afraid its cahill who got the most appreance than any our good cb. who will get trust and play in almost all important matches. Sad, i really hope its not true

Because its not just about the team isnt capable of scoring or about concede a goal. But we already seen so many games of him, to understand cahill makes our build up play constantly poorer, make high pressing ineffective, bad when get pressure and slow. So the other player around him must ready to cover his limitation. An that hold back the team massively

What is development squad anyway ?

Just pity, i remembered watched him in his first season here. When he signed, almost nobody excited. But when he actually played, he surprised many of us. Look composed, determined, talented, quick, good on the ball, he looked like a real talent to me. But after that loan, his development just stalled and just getting worse way since that

At this rate, our board still have major work to be done. Many important signing still needed But I think, if we manage to sign aurier, mahrez and drinkwater we will be fine. And they are not impossible target with reasonable fee aswell. But i dont know if that is too good to be true

Yes, i cant understand it aswell I mean, its only good for us as backup midfielder. But why he even consider move to us ? Bayern also need to loan him to team which he'd get more game time to nurture and develop him. And i dont know, what his strength. Is he even able to handle high pressing opponent, what about his passing range ? Or mostly he just passing sideways, not really good in interception, average technically or make it short just younger version of matic ?

I dont know i like it or not. But actually if you think about transfer market. What will be happen then, if freaking nemanja matic even cost for 50 milion. Ffs. Wonderful peformance. This is kind of performance i expect from hazard. Not too much relax or laid back in mayority of the match. Today he tried a lot more than just one two and his movement and desire also really good. Today he is really joyful to watch

Exactly. And to make it worse, behind matic and alonso is cahill !. Which relatively slow and he isnt very good to build up from the back. Cahill need so much protection from matic or alonso to position more close to him. Another reason why our left area is poor and that is really obvious in certain match It sad to watch week in week out hazard surround by limited player. So we have to accept, we barely see excellent and dangerous combination from our left area. Even though need to mention, for some games hazard also frustating player. He looks lacking consistency on desire, or determination. It likes he only playing well if he only wants it but on another game sometimes he looks didnt give a fuck at all.

What actually worrying is, is conte actually have solution against team which able to pressing constantly ? There is nothing new and match after match conte keeps playing player like cahill, matic who can only shit himself when get excellent pressing by opponent Even disapointing defeat against spurs and till today against liverpool nothing changes Our midfield keep losing, our sucessfull chances create is worrying, too much hoofing the ball, no solution when get press and our rcb and wb still constantly being targeted Nothing changes

It feels like mourinho in disguise Just why conte make this game like how mourinho will approach Allowed the opponent to having the ball is one thing. But struggle alot to create meaningful chances, shit passing quality for almost 75 minutes is really similiar to mourinho display when we play away matches. Depressing to watch for my liking

Matic does that almost every game -he is awful at ball, clumsy, his first touch is terrible- but he still get so many appearance under conte And ffs he is midfielder, which is cost or holding back the team a lot more compare than defender who poor in first touch and ball control. I think, as long as zouma not getting constant high pressing from opponent, he still fine or atleast still usefull player Sometimes i really wondering why matic still playing ahead player like chalobah who still can be useful when play as midfielder, meanwhile chalobah is have a lot better pace, technique, and growing some maturity on this game. But conte still using matic who isnt only have poor technique, clumsy, and sometimes look super awkward on the ball. But he also slow and not really able to intercept the ball or even win aerial duel on the midfield.

At least kenedy has more pace, speed, athletism, more energetic to our left side and posses good technique aswell. At least give it try. Maybe kenedy defending is very doubtful (alonso not so good when comes defend too), bu kenedy probably much better when supporting attack. i mean seeing pedro play at the left side like yesterday, pedro have pace and willingness to take on defender is really much more helpfull to free hazard. I like alonso as player, but actually seeing alonso week in week out, doesnt have any pace to recover when he out of position is sad because that is really hold back our team.

I think even you actually understand, it isnt about how many we conceded goal. But how many opponent player succesfully send dangerous cross into our box from alonso's side or How many opponent player able to beat him at the left side Probably nobody talking trash to alonso, slagging him or etc. But Alonso being CONSTANT TARGET by opponent team, that is what concern some of us who critics him Also in my opinion, alonso is one of the reason why we still struggling when oppenent press us highly. Alonso is another player who looks awkward when get presses and his lack of dynamism and mobility hold back our team even more. I dont think he is bad player, i like him as a player He almost try his best in every matches, have decent technique, good when supporting attack. But if we want to become GREAT team, sadly to say we absolutely need better leftback

So so happy with the win. What a determination by our player and conte. What a match ! But beside the scoreline, for me before willian goal we fortunate to not conceded more than 2 goals. At another day we probably could be hammered. City have good weapon to cause us problems On individual aspect Technical & Pacey striker : aguero 1st class ball delivery : silva & kdb Pacey fullback : navas & sane As a team their good at interchanging play, able to play high pressure football Our build up play is not able to get out from city pressure and we look vulnurable when have to handle city counter. What concern me is not just only city able to dominate but if we against oponent which have good defensive organisation (barely have any space at wide area to exploit by our wingback because opponent defensive line is very dicipline) and how to cope with high pressure, what we can see conte plan still isnt working. This is not only happen against city but also again spurs. Even boro (though it is probably because international break) but still what oppenent need to make us struggling is really simple just press us high. City absolutely capable to break our defensive organisation, create so many great scoring opportunities , succesfully presssure our player ( there is a moment azpilicueta and kante make silly pass ). Alonso is good wing back but his lack of mobilty and dinamism become liability in this match

Kind a impress with this bournemouth side. When they have possesion with the ball, they are excellent. Their player have confident on the ball, passing the ball very well and quite enjoyable. They just too often make mistake when it comes to make quick counter. And about ake performance, actually never saw him play for bournemouth. But i've been impressed by his performance at 1st half. Enjoyable watching him play. Really confident and comfortable on the ball, far better than cahill xD. Doesnt panic when get pressed, comfortable, so far always make excellent pass and able to keep the ball flowing really well and also he have some excellent passing range as well. For me he have nice potential to play in our cb, what i seen he is actually a good ball playing defender Absolutely much better on the ball than cahill and excellent when he defend, his position and decision so far so good, not slow like cahill, and eventhough ake is a bit lightweight but he isnt get bullied, actually looks really decent at some few aerial duel

Chalobah has been excellent I think the problem, mostly because of our backline very shaky defence, totally different personel at backline which require some time luiz and JT is trying to get used to their different role, cahill is limited defender, so when the other two cb is performing very well, he is decent. If not, he is flaw is truly exposed.

The best thing from this game is conte's experiment "matic as advanced midfielder" is finally over. Kante is so much better when pressing opponents midfield

I just dont understand To attacking the opponent, our left side (where hazard plays) most of the time is his best weapon when comes to attack. But why he for so many games let hazard surround by useless player when attack ?? Hazard didnt have any help at all. No one to create good linkup. What he have around him is a inverted fullback which barely make overlap run, far from good to support like natural lb. Hardly create spaces or make excellent 1-2 combination. And Matic oh my god i dont know what to say anymore Midfielder who consistently clueless and akward on the ball, poor tehcnique, didnt have passing range, cannot shoot, not really intelegent, slow and pathetic when get any pressure. Why just why ?? So unfair when compare to sanchez and sterling situation

As long as you keep matic on the field, what you have is medioker midfield. Doesnt matter what idea or gameplan manager have in mind, that is what you have medioker midfield performance week in week out. Matic is not the biggest problem like ivan-cahill. But with such a big role he play in conte setup, he extremely hold back the team so much. FFS
