I afraid he trust the wrong person. Conte said back then at juventus he prove to be able to transform bonucci, barzagli from bad player to become one of the best defender in the world. But matic, ivanovic, cahill ... Probably never happen to transform them to become much better player. Conte's mistake is field so many deadwood at the same time. The combination of oscar, Matic combine with ivanovic and cahill is hold back this team too much. For me field that 4 combination together almost in every match is really awful beyond the word.

In terms of passing and vision, i am afraid he is becoming like ramires. Very very limited. What i see from matic performance in 4 matches. Beside his height and maybe decent positioning. Matic doesnt have anything to become good midfielder in conte system. Not just his speed is slow his passing also slow, predictable and very mediocre. When the opponent is just completely sit back our build up play is still okay. But just give our midfield some decent pressing. Our build up play become very poor, and it is very concerning.

to think in another match it still even possible to field ivan - cahill - terry - azpi matic and fabregas oh my ....

Meh Pogba only thrive if mou totally change to 4-3-3 formation. Unless mou really want to switch formation. Getting pogba is unnecessary, probably will be pity to see him play below average or far from hype I know the actual play 4-2-31 and 4-3-3 is could be same, but basicly when we stick him as pivot on 4-2-3-1 pogba's attribute doesnt suit there, waste and limited when we stick him as CAM it isnt his best position either So why buy him ? yes, Our current CM situation is bad But actually we dont even need pogba for very high money to make our team better & improve just play 4-3-3 oscar/fabregas willian matic and our shocking depth and badly need another signing reliable 3rd midfileder is not as bad as before.
