Remy has world class pace and a good strike, but Ba has better holdup play, stronger/taller and vision. Remy is a perfect counter attacking player, but when teams park the bus, Remy contribution will be little if any. Still a good signing considering the choices available.

I think they are both similar. Cristiano has the edge in the air, but Bale is a better passer/crosser. I think Bale is faster as well. Bale would allow Benzema to score more as well and let RM function better as a team imo.
