Watching our 3 games this season so far against them, i'll be happy if we actually score.

They say things happen when you least expect it. We should've won 3 UCL's by the time we actually did (AT LEAST!!) and indeed i too gave up hope as many here did i think, it was a jynx we were never going to win it. That's what was so ironic about how we won it. After deserving to have won it in previous years, being desperately unlucky and having absolutely nothing go our way, we did the absolute opposite to win it undeservedly with everything going our way. I think we won it the perfect way because of the past, it let us erase the pain of the past by correcting all the wrongs all in that 1 extraordinary campaign. When people say we were lucky and fluked it, they just don't remember the other side of the coin. TC meet up for our next UCL final

I don't think he's a big game player if i'm honest. He bullies the small teams but in big games he get's outdone because he's a bit of a one trick pony. He did play well against Barca though i must admit but since the UCL final and then the Euro's, his self confidence seems to have taken a battering which can be understood of course but those few months certainly took a lot out of him. Hopefully that performance against Barcelona is the catalyst for him to return to top form. An in form Robben with Hazard and Mata behind Falcao = a word bigger than the dictionary has to offer. Anyway i can't see it.

I got up on May 20th obviously very hung hung over with a few bruises and went straight to Stamford Bridge for the parade and drunk all day again, that really was some weekend. Really hope for another like it soon, will hopefully do a mini version if we win the UEL. Would never have thought back in the day that we'd be on the verge of winning every European trophy after winning every domestic honour. Must admit though, the Club World Cup still hurts a lot, that's the one thing missing but then again at least it gives us something to aim for. I can see us winning the UCL again soon, just need to get over the line for top 4 this season and carry on building. It may take another 3 years but it will happen.

We've already won as many games as we did the whole of last season with only 2 points less. Damn last season really was quite bad wasn't it.
-
Took me all day to write it ... But thanks
-
This is his debut full season, he's still pretty raw and young. I must admit i wasn't expecting him to be this good already. I reckon 1 more year with WBA and then bring him in. He's close but still not there yet. He needs to play games every week.
-
He's obviously doing a Brendan Rodgers impersonation.
-
The only way he would join PSG would be simply because he hasn't won the French league and cup for his collection. It depends literally on how he see's his career. Does he see it as... "Meh, i'll settle down now" Or "Ok, i've got the English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian set of trophies.... What next?" I do think he's coming back now though. There's been speculation before but nothing on a scale of these last few months and there's hardly any "No he's not coming back" stuff, it's been pretty one way hasn't it. It would be an incredible day if it happens. If Alex Ferguson thinks he's coming back too as well as all the names and sources mentioned above, there's definitely something going on, 100%. Anyway i bet £10 with some Algerian guy that he won't come back just so i'd be happy to lose. Gotta stop doing that.

Coutinho has been better than Oscar in recent weeks but that doesn't mean he is and will be a better player. Anyway who cares? Everyone has spells of greatness and everyone has spells or rubbish, i'm surprised this is even a discussion, you guys must be so bored.
-
After that performance, no wonder this guy's depressed.
-
I don't really think 0-6 was on the agenda. I predict another RIOT, bring it on wooo! Cleaners should get double pay this time. Sturridge is class although he can be a bit Torres-esque in the conviction part of things i.e pulling the fucking trigger. Now we know how a French team would cope in the prem...

Hull can't score goals. I think it's gonna be Zola's boys coming up, they'll thrash the dirty scum that is Leeds United. I can't see Hull beating Cardiff.
-
No... A Man Utd win would be.
-
The funny thing about that was Donny breaking from that to win the league. All the abuse they gave us in the cup game? What goes around bitches.
-
Indeed i did although they got a jammy equaliser late, they nearly won it at the death so a good result with me losing another £20. Might put a tenner on Arsenal to get that back (well, half of it).... YES I WILL! fuck me you'd think i'm made of money... i'm far from it lol, i'm using the logic of being bust and happy.
-
Wooo i lost my bet (again).
-
No idea why Wigan vs Tottenham isn't even live. That is the biggest game of the weekend by an absolute mile. If i can get out of work early, i'll be watching that on a stream no doubt.
-
Have you seen Rangers lately? I lost a bet a few weeks ago because Porto drew 1-1 at home, the odds were 1/9 for them to win. The week before Olympiakos messed me up and they were 1/10! I really wouldn't if i was you. Put a hundred if u want to do the bet but a thousand? That's gonna just make you panic during every game. Don't trust the Dutch, Greek or Portuguese leagues. Anyway my bet for the weekend is the same i've done for a few weeks now. £20 on Arse n Yids. Bout 3.5/1.

Moses' best performance for us yesterday and i still think a very good signing. We have the small elegant types of player, Moses is quick, strong and big so it adds a different dimension to our game. They couldn't handle him yesterday. He also has an eye for goal. Sometimes he can be hopeless of course but again, as most of our players he's young and new to our team.

We looked like playing for a whole week without scoring against em in the League Cup first leg. A lot needs to change from that game or we're in deep shit. Think we'll scrape a very dodgy unconvincing 1-0 win.
-
So a Dortmund - Benfica USC it will be now. These are the threads that annoy me the most. How can you just assume we'll win the Europa League? There's still so much to do. Maybe you're just creating it because you've been wound up by Bayern fans and cannot wait but shit, this is by no means done and dusted. Dortmund can beat Bayern, Madrid can turn 4-1 around n win 3-0, Barca beat Milan 4-0 and we've been so inconsistent this season i wouldn't be surprised if we lost 2-0 at home to Basel, it's been one of those seasons. If it is indeed the Super Cup then great, bring it on but i'm not so sure.

So happy with that win. In Liverpool we conceded with the last kick of the game. 4 days later in Switzerland we scored with the last kick of the game. Maybe some things are just meant to be. We controlled the game, it was easy tbh EASY... yet we just couldn't get that 2nd goal and then just like in both games against Rubin, the referee gives the most disgustingly atrocious penalty decision you're even likely to see, this one being the absolute worst. Us and penalties in Europe... what a relationship that one is! I was about to reach breaking point when he scored it tbh, i was getting so heated up with the events of Sunday and now this pen i was getting genuinely angry with our ineptness to win games, to kill games these fucking games off or at least to see it out. So thankful for the David Luiz goal, it shoulda been saved really but it made everything right and 2-1 is better than 1-0. I would've been so pissed off if that had finished 1-1 despite it being a good result in the scheme of things. Now on to the home game. We need to do a job still, it's far from over. Basel like to play away as they don't feel the pressure as much but surely we have to have too much for them now. That Luiz goal was so huge. 1 more point.... I love David Luiz. How can anyone say he shoulda been sent off? He kicked the ball for fuck sake, a foot cannot go through someone without making contact. It wasn't even a foul, get real. In slow-mo it looks dodgy but slo-mo isn't real-mo is it? you try n make a tackle then make your foot stop immediately so it doesn't follow through. David Luiz sometimes goes in rash but imo he goes in fairly and i also think he'll be a Chelsea great. He can do everything.

Considering we were 6th last season and will probably get 5th this season, not even competing for the title for 3 years, i'm surprised anyone can be arrogant/over confident. We've drawn against Brentford this season ffs 7 minutes from losing. I'll be happy with a draw today.
-
Just hope he said to Lewandowski 'see you next season'. I don't remember us getting destroyed like that under him apart from the time Middlesbrough somehow fucked us 3-0 but they scored some real silly goals that day. We were so strong under him, he needs to get out of there.
