Well if Grant stays for next season and another 2 after, it's something we'll just have to accept. It'll suck yeah but all we can do is make threads here whining about it. we cant do anything unless the 42,000 chant 'Grant out' every week.

i dunno, i'll prob just do this one next season. I think its more tedious predicting Chelsea's line ups lol, you're guaranteed most of the team like Cech, Terry, Carvalho, Lampard and mostly Ashley Cole, Joe Cole and Drogs. Even the Prediction thing is annoying in a way because we all think we'll win every game. Ive never seen anyone predict we'll lose except me in the 2 arse games. Those 2 games guarantee you points. In Know the Score, the winner would deserve it more. Well i like this game the most anyway.

We'll always remember the Jose days but i also remember the ranieri days, ruud days and luca days just as fondly as jose. Time moves on i'm afraid. we'll have these times back again i'm sure of it with someone else when mr clueless goes away. For me, the way the players played on sunday showed me that the team are the same and so is the spirit. The manager is the only difference but that will be sorted soom i believe. imo Avram is just our caretaker manager. Roman & Kenyon are just playing games with us and the media. P.S i was at the Chelsea - Villa CC game last season and lol that was a complete pasting. Villa played their full team too.
-
Hes best for the role yeah but in that situation, specially what essien done to arse last season, hit the bar too late on, we needed goals from absolutely everywhere. The defensive role wasnt needed like it usually is. Essien, Ballack, Lampard, Kalou, Joe Cole, drogba can all score. at 1-0 down, you need as many players capable of scoring as poss. Sometimes the fear of conceding a 2nd is forgotten. Shit or Bust.
-
i dunno, maybe he understood the question but just simply has no friends lol. He doesnt look the same player with them, he seemed a lot happier with us. He doesnt even look that impressive at the back anymore. Ive seen him get out paced and out fought a lot of times since joining arse. Hes not the same defender anymore.
-
I can see both sides of the argument about maka going off but i spose when your 1-0 down, you should just go for it. We still have players who can attack and defend so essien there or maka shouldnt change much.
-
fucking hell, steve mcclaren could guide that Chelsea team to a championship challenge every year. In fact, even i could. Sometimes the subs work, sometimes they dont. On sunday, they worked but the subs were pretty much common sense.
-
filming it is legend, can see where he needs to improve. lmfao at the read, i was pissing myself for ages.
-
Isnt this sposed to be like where we actually talk about the game and what we think might happen etc? well.......I think after the goon win our confidence will be so high, i believe we'll win this game fairly comfertably to be honest. The win on Sunday could prove to be a major win in the season. Pretty much every game now is must win. As soon as us or man utd fuck up, they could be fucked. I predict a comfy 2-0 win

Ashley cole just wanted some English friends lol

its a good pic, but it doesnt need to be added like 5 times. one'll do. great pic tho, i'll save that

i knew i shoulda had more faith in my team oh well, i dont mind predicting us to lose every game if we win them lol. would suit me. I need a massive week now even tho it seems only 3 or 4 are even playing this. Hope more get involved next season.
-
Well looking at it, we really can win every game. I would usually say Everton away and Bolton home are the hard ones if you take away the manc game, but i cant see it this year. The way Everton were against west ham, they were thuroughly outplayed at home and the way we played in the CC semi 2nd leg tells me that we can go there and win no danger. We coulda won that 3-0 and that was a massive game for Everton. Bolton are fucking dire, its either them or Birmingham for the drop. To be honest, the Newcastle away game will be the hardest because we never do well there and they will be very much up for it. 10 years ago, last game of the season, Chelsea vs Bolton, we won 2-0 and Relegated them, remember it very well. This year it will be bigger. If we win, we are champions and Bolton are down, if we lose, Man utd are champions and Bolton are safe, how amazing would that be!
-
lol forget about this. The England players just purely dont wanna waste their time playing international friendlies when they are in a massive period in the league. You will see at least 3-5 more stories like this in the next couple of days. ------has pulled out/is a doubt/may not be fit for weds etc etc
-
Well its a good job we won, i was thinking when it was posted that its a bit risky posting this before we play them but all turned out sweet in the end lol. Was a great read and it looks pretty much spot on now. Arsenal on the slide. LOVE IT!

To JBD, its different appealing to opposing fans because they do it to get on our backs. Hes appealing to Chelsea fans because they are on his side and he obviously feels that if he asks something of his own fans, they'll listen. If he says to Arsenal fans, Stop Booing Ashley Cole, you really think they'll give a shit? no. Hes appealing to Chelsea fans, his own fans, its different.
-
yep, everyones gotta move on. Jose was yesterday, unfortunately Grant is today but today is what we're in.
-
well some of the posts have been crazy in the last say......2 months. Everything that has happened in the back, behind the scenes, who has come, who has gone, whos the manager, why jose left, why jose wasnt backed, why we got this guy as manager etc etc is all only one mans fault.
-
specially the amount of abuse Ten Cate and Grant got for (From Drobga and others) taking Joe off with a few mins left against tottenham for Alex, that was at 4-3 up and it came back to bite us. Then he decides against Arsenal, 2-1 up ahhhh i'll take Joe Cole off with 2 mins left. Just asking for trouble.
-
Well the subs worked for once, they were only common sence subs anyway tho really, if your 1-0 down and you have a striker on the bench and theres only 20mins left, its a no brainer. The way Anelka played made Grant look good. The tactics in the 2nd half were good. Arsenal simply cannot cope with Drogba and the long balls were very effective to him. Play to your strengths, play to Arsenals weakness. Simple game sometimes. The long ball game is an art, you need certain players for it its not just boring/aimless booting forward. The second goal was excellently worked. I heard that Eduardo song, bit harsh but i also read in the paper that he did the same tackle to someone earlier in his career which broke that persons leg. When he was asked about taylors challenge, he just said "it happens". What goes around, comes around.

My display resolution just says the screen is 1024 by 768 pixes and the colour is 32 bit. My banner was fine, i didnt change anything then it just went like that. Thanks for trying to find out the problem anyway. Its fine on my PS3, must just be something on my laptop that is a bit dodgy. its ok tho, everything else is fine. Bit weird tho. Ever since the banner players went from the legends (Wilkins, Bonetti, Osgood) to the current players it went wrong.
-
Its the way he left mainly, not exactly that he left even tho the choice to go to Arsenal didn't help. He acted like a child after the world cup, he was late back, he was taking the piss. When Jose gave Ballack the number 13, i knew then it was goodbye to William. Still.....When he scored against us, he didnt really celebrate, he gave a post match interview after the game which was quite nice towards us and he seems to still get on with all our players, friendly banter in the tunnel etc. Its just the way he left which is a shame. I don't really hold much of a grudge, was just one of those things. Whats done is done i suppose. He was great for us and did give his all every game.
-
and the fucker still took Joe Cole off with 2 minutes left, doesnt learn sometimes lol. I have a feeling he'll play 4-4-2 in the next game and maybe even most of the remaining ones too. Not quite sure who will be in it tho. GK, Defence and Strikers we know. Lampard we know and Joe cole i would reckon, but wide left? Center with Lamps? Diamond to keep more happy? we'll see. P.S We'll beat Man Utd
