Yeah I have just been on Bluemoon and saw that, funny how convinced they were a few days ago that they were buying him
-
Anyone been on any arsenal forums yet? Any good quotes? Haha
-
According to twitter, RAC1, the Spanish version of sky sports are reporting it as done...
-
I used this to show someone else, hope that's okay with you

I hope you're right! Would be great to be able to watch the world cup and watch Spain knowing we will have Costa and maybe Fabregas for next season. And then being able to relax and watch other teams rush to get deals done in August when our new signings could have a full pre season with us

I know and understand that the fact Cesc and Jose haven't got on in the past could be an issue. But I suppose that was to be expected with him being Real Madrid manager? Look how many players who have worked with him refer to him as one of the most important people in their lives. Lampard, JT, Drogba and then Sneijder, Ibrahimovic, Materrazzi, Varane, Callejon etc, Madrid players until the falling outs. There's no reason why Cesc & Jose couldn't become that close if he came as well if they wanted to. It's the same as us in our normal lives, how many of us have not liked someone in the past and then gone on to be good friends with them? I know I have Also read on an arsenal forum that Jose was at Barcelona whilst Fabregas was there, from 1997-2000 I think.
-
Saw this on twitter haha http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3863550 Photo of Cesc in the Azpilicueta article, coincidence or a hint? Haha
-
What do you think this means for Ivanovic then? I assume Azpi would move back to right back. Ivanovic won't want to just start the odd game here and there. I'm asking because I have seen a few reports linking him to PSG (surprise surprise haha )
-
I guess we just never know what could happen in football. How many of us could have seen Van Persie at United one day, bearing in mind that Arsenal used to have a big rivalry with them? Or even Mata at United This time last year? Same with what Eto'o said about never wanting to play for us. Clichy saying only players who want money go to Man City. Figo to Madrid straight from Barcelona. Sol Campbell to Arsenal. Saying that, I don't think Fabregas will come here but we never know. I'll be honest, I've never really liked him but if he came here he would have my full support and I would obviously start to like him then.
-
Great goal from him tonight in France's friendly against Paraguay. Obviously we don't need him although I think he will do well at this world cup and might get a transfer after. Hopefully he doesn't go to Arsenal though as he has been linked with a move there

https://mobile.twitter.com/feroze17/status/473026416666112000?p=v Didn't say yes, but he didn't rule it out either. I would like him here.
-
To be honest, I don't know why we're not looking at Coentrao? Good relationship with Jose, only 26 so is in his prime, and would be cheaper than Shaw or Luis. Also he did want to leave Real last summer, not sure if he still wants to though
-
we have been linked with Benzema a few times, I wouldn't mind him. Or Higuain maybe? Jose has worked with both of them so I'm sure he would be aware and could turn to either as an option if we don't get Costa
-
I hope we get Varane as well. I've been saying for a while we should get Coentrao instead of Shaw - much cheaper, more experienced especially in big games, knows Jose. I remember he was fantastic at Euro 2012 and he was great against Bayern recently
-
I do hope we win the league, but I have seen a lot of Chelsea fans (not talking about anyone on here, don't worry) expecting us to be unstoppable next year when we finally have a good striker or two. Now obviously I would love this to be true, but I just think people shouldn't get their expectations up too much. After all, I bet Man City fans are saying they will be unstoppable next season once they sort their defence out? Which tbh, I can't argue with either.

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/03/sunderland-face-legal-fight-points-deduction Thought this might happen If Sunderland were to stay up
-
I hope it doesn't happen (probably will want to go to Madrid in a few years)but after yesterday I do think there is a small, small possibility of him going. With all the PSG rumours, what he said about how he would consider it if his wife wanted (which I fully understand) combined with what he said in the interview and what Jose said yesterday, I do think he will definitely be linked with moves all summer, especially if he has a good World Cup.
-
Posted this in the other thread but I suppose it could go in here as well. We're being linked with Samir Nasri today.... Probably 99% chance it is made up, but opinions anyway?
-
Seeing quite a few QPR fans saying stuff like: "West London derbies next year will be QPR v Chelsea and Fulham v Brentford" "The way it should be" "Fulham will play Brentford next year. Leave Chelsea to us" Oh dear. Come on Wigan on Friday and the following Monday!!
-
When was the last time we relegated a team? Going to feel sorry for Norwich if it happens, don't mind them. Great fans.
-
Not really on topic, (sort of is) but I don't understand all the neutrals who say Mourinho is disliked by Madrid fans. Trust me, I've come across a lot on twitter who still love Jose and miss him. Also not forgetting all the banners etc at his last game at the Bernabeu. The stuff about all Real Madrid players turning on him was also exaggerated. When he left, I remember the massive thanks from Khedira, Ozil, Coentrao, Callejon, etc about how much he believed in them and that they will always be thankful Ronaldo and Casillas have also since spoken up and said everything is forgiven.
-
I understand why we have been playing defensive in some games this season, due to a lack of a top class striker. However, hopefully next season we will have one, So hopefully next season we play better football, like the 6-0 against Arsenal was such a good game to watch, the way we played, got forward quickly. Hopefully we get a trip to Wembley - either the league cup final or FA Cup semis/final And I will be happy with a top 3 finish in the league as long as we are properly involved in the title race. Obviously I would like us to win it, but it's such a tough league and just one result can change everything.
-
So today we're being linked with Samir Nasri.... Not saying I think Hazard will leave, but if he does, who would you like as a replacement? Personally really like Draxler myself
-
Question for the older fans , have we always been hated? I hear people saying we were quite hated due to the hooliganism, etc then I hear others saying we were everyone's second team!
