  1. http://www.football-espana.net/41283/di-maria-%E2%80%98always-grateful-mourinho%E2%80%99 http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/04/19/tt-real-madrid-star-grateful-to-chelsea-boss-jose-mourinho/ Yeah, Di Maria said that although they fell out in the last year, before that they always got on well and he will always be thankful to him. Didn't hear anything about him falling out with Khedira either, Khedira himself said in an interview that he is a disciple of Mourinho, haha
  2. Varane, Khedira, Alonso, Coentrao, Morata and Arbeloa from what I know. Plus from the ones who have left, Callejon and Ozil definitely Tbh the whole thing was exaggerated in the media anyway, a lot of Madrid players have since said how thankful they are to Jose, and how they wouldn't be where they are today without him
  3. And this is why I wasn't too bothered about Hazard having a poor World Cup, because I bet if he had performed as well as James had, Madrid would probably be after him now
  4. Just thinking about it, okay we have a lot of players in his position but don't a lot of other top clubs as well? Arsenal, Barcelona, Madrid, City, Bayern Arsenal have also just signed Sanchez in his position PSG he was linked with, not too sure about their squad? Liverpool I suppose, but they've already spent a lot on attacking players and are buying Markovic, and will probably need to spend on their defence now. I would normally say United would probably be his best option as they only have Young, Nani etc but I think he will probably want CL next season?
  5. I don't want to get excited because it's probably not true but OMG GRIEZMANN
  6. Also, I know it's probably nothing but he speaks fluent English more or less, and so if he came to England he could settle in quickly. Hasn't Zidane left Madrid as assistant coach now anyway? I read that he is now in charge of their reserves or youth or something But I'm sure Jose would know about his release clause and Madrid might need to sell in order to fund their transfers this year.. Kroos more or less done, but they have been linked with James, Falcao etc
  7. Jose loves Varane, Varane loves Jose IF he did want to leave Madrid, I think we would have a good chance of getting him
  8. Well I respect the fact all fans have different opinions. Even though I don't agree with those saying Oscar should be sold, that is their opinion and I won't argue with that. Personally, I believe in Oscar and believe he can become one of the best in the world in the next few years under Mourinho. As Jose said, he was being played out of position for Brazil and being burdened with defensive duties. Even then, he put in an amazing performance vs Croatia in the opening game, so we can see he has the skills and potential. He just needs to work on his consistency. I hope he plays in the third place playoff tomorrow, and scores a goal or two. Although I don't think the Brazil players will ever get over not winning the World Cup this year, I would hope him scoring tomorrow would make him feel a bit better about himself, as it was upsetting seeing him so devastated after the semi final. And then I hope he gets a bit of a longer summer break, comes back motivated and ready for next season, helps us win a trophy and then goes into next year's Copa America with Brazil and helps them win that.
  9. With Neymar's injury, I think we will see Oscar having less defensive duties against Germany, and more focus on him attacking. He now has a chance to step up and make himself Brazil's hero in Neymar's absence, and I believe in him that he can do it. We know he has the potential as seen against Croatia, and I have faith in him (even though I'm an England supporter but I really want Brazil to win the WC now)
  10. If we do need to bring in 1 or 2 older players for the experience, I would have liked Sneijder. Has looked better each game for Holland, really unlucky not to score today. And tbh I'm only saying this because he has been one of my favourite players of recent years outside of Chelsea. Not to mention how much he loves Mourinho. Having said that, it won't ever happen anyway seeing as we can get Tiago for free whereas Sneijder would probably be about £10m.
  11. I think, if the Luis deal falls through which I think it could at this rate, I would prefer us to go for Coentrao.
  12. Hope this isn't true - he's 29, and will be 30 in September. If we are looking to bring in another CB, which I think we are judging by all the different rumours, I'd prefer it to be Varane. Does anyone else agree that the reason Atletico were so good last season was due to their system and teamwork, not necessarily top class individuals? A bit similar to Netherlands in this World Cup - only 2/3 world class players, but the system, tactics and manager makes all of the players look good So I don't think we should be targeting so many Atletico players
  13. I agree actually, I was wondering today whether we are waiting to see if Madrid go for Suarez and whether we could get Benzema?
  14. He has been absolutely class in every game this World Cup. And he's only 21, just think how good he will become Jose, you know what to do
  15. Bought this book written by Oscar alongside the author Tom Watt a few days ago. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/1905825846?pc_redir=1403805436&robot_redir=1 I would recommend it, gives a good insight into life and football in Brazil, with extracts about Oscar's life growing up. Some of the proceeds from the book go towards a charity in Brazil which help young people
  16. Oh yeah.. Completely forgot about that for some reason! Haha Still think he should get a rest before next season though because of the Copa America as well
  17. I was just researching something about the 2016 Olympics, and I remembered that the Brazil football team will be playing in that tournament as they are hosts. So Oscar's summers consist of: 2011- U20 World Cup 2012- Olympics 2013- Confederations Cup 2014- World Cup 2015- Copa America 2016- Olympics Really hope Oscar is allowed a few extra weeks off this summer.. Will do him the world of good
  18. That newspaper saying Fabregas and Mourinho met face to face in a west London restaurant, surely more people would have seen them?
  19. Reports in Spain saying that Barcelona are close to agreeing a deal for Rakitic, should be finalised soon. So maybe they will announce Fabregas after that.
  20. Marvin Humes (Chelsea fan) on soccer aid: "Jose told me secrets about next season and it's looking good" Haha just thought I'd put this in here, interesting
  21. http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=300575&sid=5c135f553e94bd27a08616304190bfed&start=1670 City fans convinced we've joined forces with PSG to screw them over. Okay. Hahah
  22. I know there's some people worried about him not being passionate enough if he signs for us, but here's what I'm thinking. Top players like him want to go down in history and be remembered at clubs and by the fans. With Fabregas, I don't think Barcelona fans will remember him too fondly, and most Arsenal fans don't think he is a legend at all, especially not if he comes here. So surely, we could be his last chance to properly make himself a hero at a club and play a big role in the team winning trophies? Take Van Persie at United for example. Obviously he isn't a Legend there but he'll be remembered fondly by the fans now for winning them their 20th title, taking it back from their neighbours and their last title under Ferguson. So if Fabregas does come here, I think he will show 100% commitment and give us his all.
  23. Costa, Fabregas, Luis and Varane would be an amazing transfer window, better than I could have ever expected!
  24. http://m.europapress.es/deportes/futbol-00162/noticia-torres-cesc-tipo-jugador-hoy-chelsea-no-tiene-20140605105653.html?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed Not translated it but I've seen a few quotes on twitter, Torres has been speaking about Fabregas
  25. What you have to remember is that we can never know for sure what their wages are. I think he will probably be on £150k anyway, the 200k a week rumour just came from some newspaper I mean, does anyone seriously think Rooney is on 300k a week? It's only because some newspapers think so, not sure how they would know
