Great stat: Mourinho has led the league at Christmas during seasons: 11/12 with Real Madrid 09/10 with Inter Milan 08/09 with Inter Milan 05/06 with Chelsea 04/05 with Chelsea 03/04 with Porto 02/03 with Porto and won the league at the end of each of these seasons!

I really, really want us to win this trophy. Jose hasn't won anything for two years which is unusual for him, so the quicker he gets that off his back the better. Plus it could give the team a lot of belief and confidence. Also, I would love to see the likes of Hazard, Oscar and Costa experience winning something at Wembley for the first time. So hopefully we play a strong team, go a few goals up and then we can rest players, luckily we don't play again until the following Monday night.

This isn't that relevant, but I'm assuming Jose is a Porto fan? So he will definitely want to beat Sporting Lisbon even if the match means nothing to us haha

If someone had told me that night against Atletico that we wouldn't lose again for over 7 months, I probably wouldn't have believed them. Better to lose the record against a team most of us don't have a problem with, instead of one of our rivals! I still think this will be a great season for us, one loss won't change that.

Found a clip of that great pass to Hazard: https://vine.co/v/Ov0MAtp2Uia

Thought Oscar had another great game tonight. He can pull off some fantastic passes, such as that one early in the second half to Hazard.

Only just read that Tim Krul is out for a few weeks. Anyone know what their second choice goalkeeper is like?

Anyone else find it funny how lots of City fans are convinced they will make up the 6 points gap on us, yet anyone dare suggest to them that United could overtake them and you'd be laughed out the door, despite the fact United are 5 points behind and thus closer to them than we are.

I would love for this to happen, but I can't see it. However, hypothetically, say one of us, City or PSG bought him and still "failed" FFP? I really couldn't see UEFA banning Messi from playing in the Champions League. So not sure what would happen there, probably just a fine or squad limits again.

Is it too much to ask for to hope Arsenal lose to Dortmund tonight and lose away to Galatasaray in two weeks time, whilst Anderlecht beat Galatasaray and Dortmund? Lol Although it's hilarious seeing Arsenal get their annual humiliation in the last 16.

Of course it's all subjective but I'd say yes, although that's just my opinion of course haha For example, London was a factor for Fabregas in choosing us. Also, sometimes it's a reason players choose Spain over England, so maybe for a player coming from abroad, London is a bigger appeal than Manchester?

I don't think many will agree, but personally I rate the 'location factor' quite highly. For example, if it came down to us and City, things such as wages and playing time assurances could be matched, but I think the fact we are based in London could really give us the upper hand (along with the fact we have a much better manager). Anyone else agree?

Carlo Ancelotti: "I loved England. I was very happy at Chelsea. I liked the atmosphere, the supporters. I have the best memories. As I said I have no problem with Abramovich. They were two beautiful years. I don't say no (to a return). I certainly wouldn't say no." I absolutely love Carlo. Best of luck to him and Madrid tonight!

Oh yeah of course, should have added that I don't mean to get carried away Personally can't see City winning at the Emirates, think they'll get a draw though
