The U.K, U.S and other top technological countries have the technology already to do all you said. They have been doing it for a while, tracking calls, hacking emails.....etc. But for the sake of having authoritarian power under the disguise of democracy they sell fear. Before, they would do it to suspects or certain people who are thought to be threatening. They would do it for a certain period until they are caught or cleared of suspicions. But now, they are just spreading their power span over their civilians to gain an iron grip. Can you imagine the blackmailing and manipulation any person can have with that sort of power? Putting the words "fighting terror" makes it SOUND acceptable to some people.

Also helps the Republicans for the next elections, as their foreign policy depends in striking fear of security on the American public. And fear sells very well

If you check out the U.S media, it is pretty much the same concept. They did the same against the Afganis and Iraqis. Even the returning troops who changed their views from pro war to anti war stated many times that they were dehumanizing them. Even creating their own racist words for them and always referring to them with those words.

Come on man . Pressure in ALL 5 MATCHES, including a match in the group stage against TERRIBLE OLD Cameroon after they have qualified. I haven't seen any build up patterns in the team. Brazil doesn't kick the ball around and play long wishful passes. It is more than just pressure. The final game was just a summary. Remember this, now that Brazil is going to play for the third position ( hopefully against Argentina ), you will still see no pattern what so ever. You might see a stronger fighting spirit in an attempt to redeem themselves, but still with no tactics. Can you see how Jose, takes the pressure off the players and mentally prepares them. I think Chelsea's gameplay is not the most exciting one, but I see a tactic. You are Dutch, can you see how Louis Van Gaal prepares a his young inexperienced team. Sure they might lose, but you can see a system. Pressure does not make you LOSE a system, pressure makes you miss pass, rush a couple of things, but not play randomly. You have to be a really weak individual to completely forget everything. And if that happens, maybe to a couple of players, not the entire squad. 1950 wasn't a trauma, simply because Brazil was a nobody in football. It was just starting to find itself. And I say this with all respect to Brazil. That so called trauma, Brazil overcame by becoming the best country that plays football and has the most titles. If Scolari was really a smart coach, then after that second game against Mexico, he should have realized that the not so convincing performance they had in the first game carried on in the second. Therefore he should have tried to make some adjustments. Instead all he did was sub Fernandinho for Paulinho. That is it. Not good enough I think. So let us agree to disagree mate. But I respect your point of view.
-
Buddy, that has always been my opinion on Scolari ever since I saw what he produced with a team that had Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Juninho, Roberto Carlos, Lucio,....etc. Anyways, I wasn't referring to yesterday's performance. I am talking in general. Can you define a tactic that Brazil uses? I don't think so. Have seen a game for Brazil in this world cup with clear cut tactics? Perhaps a build up play that you see as a pattern? I really doubt. The 2002 squad were much more talented, and had already proven themselves and have been in tough situations with clubs a lot. This team is too young. You can't do that to young people. If you realize, even the Brazilians on this forum were not satisfied with the way Brazil played from their opening match. However, what hides it is a victory. What is the difference between Algeria, Ghana, USA, and Brazil? Who is more experienced, plays in top leagues, has an "experienced" coach, has higher talents? I agree that the expectations etc etc do have an effect and could have played a part. But again, what happened to the mental preparation the coach do or other staff do? They conceded 4 goals in 6 mins!!! What was worse, is that they showed no signs of putting the effort to come back with the exception of a couple of players. When you have a young team like this mate, the coach has a HUGE responsibility.
-
I totally disagree. In 2002 when Brazil won the world cup it was SO CLEAR that Scolari had nothing to do with it. It was all up to the players and their individuality. The team had no tactics, like when they were under Zagalo or Carlos Alberto. In this world cup, since the start, everyone including Brazilians noticed that this team is not performing well. In group stages Brazil was playing LONG AIR BALLS ALL THE TIME. Brazilians do not do that. Marcelo is a good player, Luiz, is a good player, Alves and Silva too. But their defense looked shaky from the start. When players perform well in their club and under a new manager and style they look like a crappy unit, it tells you something about the manager's defensive tactics. Forget that, look at the midfield selection. Ramires?! Paulinho?! Look at the striker selections, Fred?! Jo?!. Look even at the way the TRIED to transition to attack or build up play. You will not find anything clear or distinctive other than individuality. And most of it came from Neymar. I am not talking about the game against Germany ONLY. I am talking from the start of the world cup. EVERY single player looked totally lost in EVERY SINGLE MATCH. Brazil only showed glimpses in the first 25-30 mins against Colombia. And that was again based on individuality and excitement, along with the fear of the Colombians and the worst refereeing. Scolari himself said in the press conference that it was his fault for the selection he made. Putting individuals together in a team does not qualify a person to be a manger. It is how they play together and the cohesion of the team. The tactics and the way they approach every single match. Spain fell because of the players, tired, old....etc, but it was clear that had a strategy. Brazil.......no strategy, no tactics, no identity. That falls on the coach for his selections and tactics.
-
It was sad people on the forum taking advantage of him today. He was out of position a lot, but that was because of the tactical stupidity of Scolari. I really feel for this guy more than any one else on the field. Him, Tiago and Cesar I really feel for. Cesar was trying to grab hold of himself in the interview, but you can see he was totally destroyed. I mean if some non Brazilians like myself feel like crap as if it was my time, I can't imagine what is going inside those players. They didn't deserve that. Scolari by making those wrong choices of selection and NO FUCKING TACTICS WHAT SO EVER, slaughtered those players infront of their home fans.

He was crying and feeling really bad on BEIN sport. Even Dunga was feeling like crap.

Saudi Arabia, to all Muslims is the heart of Islam, simply because it started there. So actually yes, when Muslims see too "harsh" criticism about Saudi Arabia they feel it is an attack on Islam:). Regarding the conflict I partially agree with you. Part of the Palestinian (Hamas) don't believe that Israel has the right to exist. Fateh on the other hand have been going for a two state solution for a while. Hence they were killed by Hamas, who saw them as traitors. But no Israeli prime minister has also accepted the right for Palestinians to exist, only Isaac Rabin like you said and Abbas. Maybe also Shlomo bin Ami, who sees himself as a "Liberal Zionist" and is aware of what the Palestinians have been through and what they are still going through. When Fateh and and Hamas decided to put their differences aside, that was an excuse for Israeli to be hostile, same case when the Palestinians tried to be part of the UN. Before mate, I would agree with you that both parties didn't want peace, now however I think only one party doesn't want peace. However, I really respect your point of view.

So now it is about Islam? LOL. Dude, you have no clue what you are talking about, listen to a fellow Jew like Chompsky and Finkelstien (whose both of his parents have been in the concentration camps). Or maybe Jon Stewart if you like things being put in a satirical way.

Zionism and Judaism are different issues buddy. I think you are mixing things together. Not all Jews are zionists and certainly not every Israeli is a zionist.

I don't seriously get the big fuss. No one said anything about Jews, Christians, Muslims, athiests, Hindus or any other religious faith. People are discussing political behavior and acts by different countries. So if I criticize Saudi Arabia that means I hate Muslims? Or if I criticize England or Italy would that mean I hate Christians? People's faith is something between themselves and their creator if they believe in a creator. Actions taking by different countries are subject to criticism.

It was because of an opening of new stadium in the U.A.E. It was a big event over there, where City practically played against 30 different players in a single match.
-
You know that his brother Ibrahima Toure passed away from cancer, age 28, the night they lost their 2nd match. Him and Habib left the team to go back for his funeral.
-
He is just young. In 3-5 yrs I think he will be one of the most important midfielders in the world. Maybe earlier even. He just needs time.
-
That is a level headed manager who knows how to defuse a situation

Costa is a great signing for us. The guy is recovering from an injury and a LONG TOUGH season. Same as most of the Spanish players and players who play for Barca, Real, and Atletico. Iniesta looks tired, Ramos, Xavi, Pique,....everyone. Even Contrao and Christiano looked very tired and still need recovery. I think we should take it easy, and not get ahead of ourselves. I mean the players haven't had a rest yet and for crying out loud the season hasn't started yet. How about we judge our players after they play for us a decent amount of games for a change?

it is possible but not necessary the case. As an Egyptian you know that usually the military recalls officers or soldiers who already have served. Usually if he is not called for duty by the age of 18, he never will. But we never know
-
you cannot renew your passport if the military has you on the wanted list. So basically he will not be able to go back to Egypt until he is 30 yrs old. And once his passport expires he can't travel anywhere. Starting from the age of 18 his passport would only be valid for one year. Has to keep renewing it on annual basis unless he is exempted from military duty. I had to go through that for a looooong time.
