  1. Yes m8 agree, i miss our power house identity especially in Midfield , the likes of a Ballack,Essien,Lampard, or a Drogba up front , think it goes back to trying to copy the Barcelona blueprint and the type/style they played/play and the more agile/technical player?!. The perfect mix would be afew of those type again , a prototype of Ballack,Essien,Lampard would be a good start lol

  22. Jorginho named in Team of the Week BBC pundit Garth Crooks has named Jorginho in his Team of the Week after the Italian midfielder’s fine goal-scoring performance in our victory at Fulham on Sunday Jorginho was criticised in the media after a recent poor run of form for the Blues, but according to Crooks, the 27-year-old put in a good shift at Craven Cottage. ‘I think Jorginho has struggled since his arrival at Stamford Bridge. Against Fulham, however, he suddenly looked like he was beginning to find some form,’ said the former Tottenham player. ‘His goal was a touch of class in a Chelsea performance that looked competent without being outstanding.’ Jorginho did not make it onto Sky Sports’ team of the week but Phil Babb included three Chelsea players in his shortlist – Cesar Azpilicueta, Willian and Gonzalo Higuain. The former Liverpool defender explained why he had opted for Wilfried Zaha over Eden Hazard in midfield. ‘Hazard played well the other night but he drifts in and out of games, whereas Willian was on it for the full game so he's gone in,’ he said. ‘Gonzalo Higuain's movement was brilliant and Romelu Lukaku was unplayable.’
  23. Striker Sol to miss Europa clash Reuters reports that Dynamo Kiev striker Fran Sol will miss his side’s Europa League round of 16 tie against Chelsea after suffering a shoulder injury which requires surgery. The Spaniard joined Dynamo in January from Dutch side Willem II and scored the goal which sealed the Ukrainian side’s 3-2 victory over Olympiacos in the last 32 of the Europa League in February. However, the 26-year-old was injured in a Ukrainian league game last weekend and is expected to be out of action for the next two months, missing both legs of the Europa League tie against Chelsea. 'The worst predictions are confirmed and I'll have to go through surgery for a shoulder injury ... I cannot be sadder after the beautiful moment I was living with Dynamo Kiev,' he posted on his Instagram account
  24. Kante praised for sporting act The Daily Mail has picked up on the positive fan reaction to an act of sportsmanship by N’Golo Kante in the closing stages of Chelsea’s Premier League match at Fulham on Sunday. With the Blues leading 2-1 in the closing minutes, the Frenchman accidentally stepped on the head of Joe Bryan after the Fulham left-back had blocked Kante’s shot from the edge of the box on a quick Chelsea counter-attack. The Blues were still in a threatening position deep inside the Fulham half but instead of continuing, Kante raised his arm and asked the referee to stop play so that Bryan could be treated. Fans were quick to respond to the act on social media with the Chelsea midfielder receiving universal praise for his sporting act. 'N'Golo Kante urgently signalling to the ref that Joe Bryan had a head injury and to stop play while Chelsea had the ball in an attacking area. Gotta love the man,' said one fan. ‘Brilliant by Kante. Doesn't care that his team has the ball. A knock on the head of Bryan and he's telling the referee to stop play. What a guy,' added another. 'Kante has such a pure heart. He told the ref about an injured opponent, Bryan, while the game was still going on. What a class,' said another.
