Cavani is 26. He'll be 27 this month.

Neymar is their best player and wears number 10 but isn't their NUMBER 10. Oscar facilitates and creates, Neymar is ALL attack oriented and plays as a winger. Number 10 isn't for the best player, Ronaldo doesn't wear 10.

Will any youngsters make it at Chelsea anymore?

So your point is that academies are useless? Even if you have the cash to buy X player, fans love to see a homegrown youngster break into the first team. It's a completely different feeling as a fan, when you see a 19 or 20 year old take his first steps with the main XI, as you know deep down that this kid was produced by your academy As for your example about Fabregas and Pique....from what I recall, it was Fabregas' choice to join Arsenal (even though Barca wanted to keep him) and Pique chose Manchester United when he was 16...because Barca could not offer him a professional contract at that age. They're not useless, but top teams don't put as effort much into their academies because they can buy players. Also, why have a homegrown talent if he's not world class talent and could possibly hinder the success of your team? It's nice, but inly if it's a great player like Terry. -
I've never even attempted to be rude on here, but do you even know what you're talking about? One of Hazard's greatest attributes is his ability to hold the ball. His other being exactly what you're trying to claim as a weakness; ability to hold the ball under a tackle, or physical pressure. Hazard is one of the rare categories of footballers along with the Messi's, Maradona's, Rooney's, etc, in which it is damn near impossible to get the ball off him when he is dribbling in field/sideways. Simply due to his short and bulldog like nature on the field. He gets his feet set hard in the ground, and gives him tremendous ability to either push off or protect the ball brilliantly with his low center of gravity. Hazard is extremely strong on the ball, simply due to his build, and because he knows how to use it, much like Messi. Impossible to get the ball off of at times. Yea, idk what that dude is talking about. Hazard is similar to Messi in several ways, including dribbling with the ball and difficult to dispossess. Thor doesn't know what he's talking about.

As much as it would be fancy to have Reus, we need target man ala Cavani or Costa in attack. We looked bad vs West Ham and someone like Cavani (and good crosses to him) would do the difference. Reus isnt typical striker and I doubt he would make impact. Yea, I know. He's my favorite non-Chelsea player so I'd love to see it. I prefer them to get Costa would be good. Not Cavani or Falcao. They're gonna be pushing 30 soon. I'd love for them to get Aleksandr Kokorin from Dynamo. He's Russian. Look him up dude is good.

Ake, Piazon, Traore, and Hazard. Those are the youngsters we should keep. -
Get Reus! 35-40 mil? Put him up front, he can play there. It should be done.
-
Cech- Ivanovic-Cahill-Terry-Cole. Matic-Lampard. Willian-Oscar-Hazard. Ba.
I wish Agüero was playing, he's so exciting.
Lmao, as if they're any better than Barca or Bayern who have never thumped us. I predict 5-0 for us.Yea, they destroy every team when it doesnt matter. Chelsea is the most well rounded team in the BPL, great defense, attacking players who create for themselves and others, and CDM's. This is a huge game, Man City will choke like they always do. 3-2 Chelsea.
-
Forgot about Lampard. He's pretty consistent with delivery He's the only. I always get mad when i see Luiz get a shot, he ALWAYS hits the wall.
-
James Rodriguez is my favorite attacling player, besides Hazard, under 23.
-
i don't know. other than Mata all other setpiece takers are piss poor. need to work on delivery as there are 3 good headers of the ball in the XI Oscar and Lampard are both good at set pieces. Both are rightys though. Luiz?

What has this thread turned into? JayC, leave if you want, motherfucker. No one cares if you're here or not. Just don't turn this into a damn soap opera thread. If you're a ManU fan go talk to other ManU fans. And don't get mad when Chelsea fans call you on your bullshit, you're trying to tell us a players strengths and weaknesses after he just played with our favorite team for 2 1/2 years. Fuck.

@Yeboii Whoa... I'm a Chelsea fan? Lol
-
Matic, Zouma, and Salah. Now if we can get Shaw this will be an amazing transfer window.
-
I have watched him consistently. He's always on the move...He has amazing energy. You really don't know your ex-player. Lie to yourself all you want, it doesn't bother me. You're stupid. And i mean that in the nicest way possible.
-
Hmm.. his hair kind of looks like Dracula's hair.
-
Good signing. Just read an interesting stat, Zouma has won 68% of his duels in Ligue 1 this year. Only Cahill (69%) has won more this year on Chelsea. Take that as you want. Just thought it was interesting.
-
I don't get it, why do people think he's annoying? I've seen every time he's played with Mexico and tons of Man U games, doesn't seem annoying.
-
I'm Mexican? Lol. Don't assume.
-
Also the racism in this thread is kind of overwhelming.
-
Wow so much hate for Chicharito. He's a lot better than what you guys give him credit for. I'm a Mexico fan, so I've seen him quite a bit, he's a bit clumsy but can finish. He would suit Mourinho because he works tirelessly for 90 minutes and defends. He is good in the air, underrated passer, and is clinical in front of goal. He is one of the most efficient strikers in BPL history. He'd be cheap and is clutch. Always seems to score vs us so he can't be that bad. And what's it matter if he can't create goals himself? With Willian/Oscar/Hazard/Lampard and Cole/Azpilicueta/Ivanovic crossing he would be set up plenty. He has the killer instinct of knowing when to be at the right place at the right time. He would be a great signing, I've been saying this for months. Also, it's funny people are saying his first season was a fluke, he doesn't get enough playing time. If he did he would score 20+ goals in all competitions every season. He'd be better than Torres/Eto'o and certainly better than Ba.

Reus as our striker! More of a CF, but whatever! €45M should do it.

The irony that this is possibly the most delusional comment on this thread. Ironic how?
