I feel Paqueta would have a place, tbh. Diouf looks like a decent buy as well (I'm sure you mentioned him before), only 20 too.

Not surprised about Estevão. I think he will initially be used like this in the PL. Impact sub until he’s fully up to the pace of the league and plenty of starts in the cups.
I am however surprised about Josh as you said. Thought Tosin would actually come in for Trev.

Not least of course because any buying clubs are aware of the pressure we are under and will be determined to exploit that. Just like we would, and in fact are doing, they will leverage whatever advantage they can to agree deals which are advantageous for them. With time on their side they are happy to sit and watch the clock wind down.

I feel that Rogers best position is 8. Although I would give him that role in our first choice lineup, I  don't expect the club would agree about this. In any case it would imply finding the right move for Enzo and I don't see any indication that the club is ready for that step.

Agreed. For me it would be similar to us buying Xavi Simons and playing him on the LW. Yes, they can play out there but they’re more influential and effective centrally.

16m is nothing. if we can make a profit off of him then its a good buy. i dont expect him to play for us.

Playing Xavi in the 10 and Palmer on the right is the best solution I think. Get Palmer away from the congested middle of the pitch where 4 players are attentive to him.

Just thought that with Jackson being younger and being a PL proven goal scorer he’d have multiple bery interested suitors bidding for him. Whereas with Nunku’s injury history + having not played much for us in the PL I thought we’d have an extremely tough time selling.
