  1. Why on earth is Mudryk on the bench? I just can't get my head around some of these decisions. A small silver lining is that we now know D.Fofana is still part of the team, and Lamps realises that.
  2. I really hope not. We need to stay well clear of players that are on the decline.
  3. Yet he still started against Arsenal and put in a 0 performance while Fofana is lost at sea.
  4. The fact that Jota returned at the ideal time to pick up the slack for Nunez has helped a lot, and having Diaz back eases the pressure on the rest of their attackers. I'm sure TTA will become a regular fixture in their midfield going forward.
  5. That implies neither keeper should be starting for this club.
  6. Kepa makes poor decisions on a regular basis, whether it's coming for crosses he has no chance of getting or failing to come off his line when it's required. I'd classify those traits as errors. Please point to where in my response I mentioned Kepa being at the same level as Lloris. I clearly stated that Llrois, at this moment in time, isn't an upgrade over Kepa. If you believe otherwise, that's a different story. Just don't put words into my mouth in the future.
  7. Replacing one error-prone GK with another isn't smart. I don't understand how comparing the achievements of two players who are 8 years apart is logical either. If we're going to shell out more money for a GK, at least get one that isn't a mistake waiting to happen. Maignan should be the prime candidate to replace Kepa.
  8. Lloris is an upgrade? He and De Gea have made the most errors resulting in goals this season.
  9. That isn't a good deal. Onana is another GK that is riddled with mistakes, which is something we've had to put up with enough during Mendy's run.
  10. Tactical masterclass from Lamps. Inspired subs that have cemented our PL survival!
  11. Ziyech is the "most limited" player 🤣🤣🤣
  12. Ziyech on for a matter of seconds and delivers a perfect cross. Havertz should be ashamed with his part in it.
  13. Madueke & Mudryk start alongside Havertz. That's probably our best front three, so I'll take the few positives while I can, as I'm very doubtful there will be many at 5pm.
  14. He's supposedly set to earn £3m if he keeps them up. Not bad for only four games.
  15. He's always been this sort of player. Pep's team helped mask his flaws, which many seemed to be oblivious to. As stated multiple times, he's the definition of a system player.
  16. Not surprising. There are people being interviewed who say they'd rather have him full-time than Poch. I can't stand the bias, which is doing more harm than good to the club. If these owners care in the slightest, they'll take a similar approach to Tottenham & remove Lampard with immediate effect to end this debacle.
  17. To think people thought Lamps appointment was a smart one until the end of the season. In what world?
  18. There's not an ounce of life out there from our side. This is without a doubt the worst side (performance wise) I've seen in the last 20 years.
  19. It's hard to take any positives from that line up. Fofana is MIA yet again, while a CF that will be gone in weeks gets a start. 🙄
  20. It would be nice for the squad to surprise us with a performance that seals our PL position and ends Arsenal's hopes in the process.
  21. Moura's contributions this season - red card against Everton that cost them two points and a perfect assist to Jota that cost them another point. He's still living off of that night in Amsterdam.
  22. Tottenham trying to outdo themselves after last weekend. 😄 Yes, during a 38-game season. He is currently tied for the overall record with Cole and Shearer, which, should he stay healthy, he will break and likely increase the current record by a few goals over the course of the next six games.
  23. Sterling cost just short of £50m. I was against the signing from day one, but once again, those making such calls fail to see the blatantly obvious. As I stated in the previous post, the majority of signings under Boehly's ownership are for the future, which includes Mudryk as well. The business we did last summer was dire, and it's showing with us wanting to offload most before the season has even come to a close. Newcastle have completely different expectations, having just avoided relegation last season and playing this season with no European commitments to worry about. Let's see if the same players can deliver when the stakes are much higher. I take it that's based on his occasional appearances for us rather than for the Ajax side that reached a Europa League final in his debut seasons (providing 20 assists in 46 games) or the Ajax that choked in the CL semis (involved in 45 goals in 49 games). Your statement is very telling.
