  1. Lampard with this cowardly formation again, and Azpi starting too. It's hard to have any hope that we will even threaten with that line-up.
  2. I totally forgot about that. They did make some smart signings in Jan too, with Ouattara being the standout for me. Moyes is also the first British manager to reach a European final since Sir Alex. Their league position is still concerning considering their recent outlay on players. A win over Fiorentina (I have a sneaky feeling Viola will pull it off) and all will be forgotten.
  3. It's inevitable. Dortmund seem unbeatable when the pressure is off them, but crumble the moment it is. The last bit is spot on. It would be two fingers to the former players making trigger-happy decisions.
  4. It's nice to see Bournemouth & Forest rewarded for sticking by the managers who started the season.
  5. They've outdone themselves again 😄
  6. U-20 WC starts today. USA V Ecuador starts in less than an hour. It might be worth a watch with both Slonina & Paez starting.
  7. Nigerian attackers are on fire this season.
  8. A number of players nowadays don't love the sport and just see it as another way to make a living.
  9. Just look at that Mings tackle that de Jong would have been proud of. You can see why Klopp has been incensed by decisions against them this season.
  10. We tried getting a work permit for Santos in Jan, so I'm guessing all intentions are to bring him here as soon as possible. Whatever ends up happening, there has to be an actual plan in place for these youngsters: loan them out to develop elsewhere prior to giving them a chance here, or sell them should they fail to live up to their potential. I never want to see scenarios similar to Piazon or Baba again.
  11. Tammy Abraham is one win away from completing European club competitions. I'd imagine he would probably be the first to do so.
  12. A number of Ancelotti's selections have cost them tonight. City should be ahead by 4 already.
  13. Same thing came to my mind after watching this video. If Boehly doesn't put an end to player power at this club, we might be looking for another manager before Christmas.
  14. The latter is flourishing here, so all the reason his agent to bring another one of his clients over here.
  15. Liverpool win tomorrow, and there's notable pressure on the two above. The funny thing is, we could effectively decide who finishes in the top four (our game V City has little bearing now). They are steadily turning into Spurs. No excuse for being cms away from the finish line only to blow it (Southampton at home should be the result they remember). Saying that, if you lose comfortably to your nearest rival on both occasions, you don't deserve to win the title.
  16. Are Brighton going to put a dent into Newcastle's CL hopes next?
  17. It seems like the inevitable has happened. Arsenal manage to outdo themselves and blow yet another title challenge.
  18. They have conceded the most goals away from home as well.
  19. They will be pulled apart in a few weeks.
  20. Fofana and Mudryk didn't even play. Another 90 mins wasted.
  21. To think it was his dream to join us. Only a few months have passed, but it must be turning into a nightmare for him.
  22. Mr Talentless is coming on to change the game for the second weekend running.
