I've watched Leverusken quite a few times recently & have lost count of how many times Frimpong has failed to take his chances.
If he's to play further up permanently, he's going to have to really work on his finishing.
Didn't you say they wouldn't be able to get past PSG either?
Their only chance of another surprise triumph is Bayern doing the business tomorrow. RM just don't choke when it really matters.
So much for it being a cakewalk for PSG.
Dortmund isn't supposedly a side we should be trying to emulate. Lose one of the best players in the world & still manage to reach a CL final. Not bad.
Use the automated system that was present at the WC & used in the CL, IIRC. It was a straight forward decision (I'd imagine almost everyone could tell from a still image).
Casadei could have a say as well. Let's hope they are available for the majority of next season.
A positive performance and a clean sheet to boot.
It's nights like this that annoy me most, as I can only think about "what might have been" had we not thrown away points throughout the season.
Are players following instructions? Are there any instructions to begin with? The list goes on.
It's just common sense for the tallest players to mark the biggest threats.
We've had the same issue for years. Talk about Anthony Barry being key to fixing that up prior to joining Bayern, but we have been suspect to them for far too long.
Did you not see his near miss earlier on in the half?
I have to reiterate that the talent is there. Whether he'll be around long enough to show it around here is another story.
