Players will only improve when given a chance and that isn't something high on the agenda here. You don't win two youth CL titles in a row on a whim.

This window seems to be getting better. Has been a great player for the club, but he completely lost his way last season.

I don't think he'd br much of an improvement over Alonso. Might be slightly better technically, but has similar shortcomings as Alonso.
