HG! I'm not an advocate of spending money on anyone, but we need to start buying young English players for the long run. Zouma seems to have regressed since his injury and just looks so out of place. We really shouldn't need another CB if things work out with the youngsters we've got (Ake, Christiansen, Zouma, Miazga, etc). I just have my reservations with Conte giving them any run of games. Just look at Ake I think it's more about people voicing the obvious instead of using him as a scapegoat. That title lies with Costa ahead of anyone. He has had good games here & there in the past, but he just looks all over the place when he comes up against anyone that plays direct. We need to be striving for a back three that are of a similar level going forward.

Blame is all on him today. He deserves to be applauded when things go well, but has to be held accountable for performances like today. The line up he chose to go with was wrong (Matic & Zouma shouldn't have started) and I'm honestly in shock that Costa somehow played the whole match. You said for more youngsters to go out on loan and listed the following: LCB, LWB and RF for me. After that, RWB, then, CM. We really don't need that many new players all being well, but more quality is needed.
