I'd like to pass on Enrique, thanks.
It's clear Roman wants us to play like Barcelona, but he/the board don't have any patience & want results from the get go. Guardiola could have gotten the sack last season had he been here.
Auba is meant to be next. Thought the new rules over there had put an end to such moves for a bit, but I guess Tevez's departure has made room. Will never understand these moves for players in their prime/good form.
He didn't turn up today, but Christensen missed two sitters & Cesc should have laid a chance on a plate for Rudiger just before HT. Another night where we have been wasteful
I'd presume 80/90% considering the clubs he's played for and the fact no one wants to take a punt. He played 1 game during his spell in France & people wonder what's wrong with our loan policy.
They haven't had a reliable CF for a while after a shedload (Ronaldo, Raul, Morientes, Van Nistelrooy, etc). I expect them to sign one big name during this window & a few in the summer.
Alonso just isn't mobile enough for whilst Moses can run for days. Ability might even be second to that when WB's are being discussed. Also, we have to remember Moses is a winger by trade and not a great one for that matter.
As many have said on here; spending big doesn't automatically mean you're getting value regardless of the current market. We need to follow the last two clubs you mentioned (Barkley deal being a good move), as we are no longer willing to spend big unless money's coming to us beforehand.
