  1. I hate this current trend of throwing money at players, especially those that don't necessarily warrant it. Playing time is all but guaranteed with Hazard's departure, so what are his real motives at this point?
  2. Not as bad as first reported. Some good news
  3. I'm talking about facets of either player. Where did I bring up positions? People on here, as I stated. If you wish to search it up, be my guess.
  4. Hazard has supposedly lost his turn of pace to beat a man according to many around here, so he's on the decline too. Please don't cherry pick.
  5. He was under 30 when he left. That's normally an attacker's prime years, so I disagree.
  6. The whole package is drama we don't need. I've been one of his biggest fans too, but Wanda has far too much say nowadays. Someone like Haller is of more interest.
  7. Not at all. People are praising him for his output on the pitch and that's something you can't argue with. Only difference is legend having a different meaning to yourself than others. Whether he is in his prime or not should have no relevance. Do you honestly think the names you mentioned would have stayed put had we been in a similar predicament? I highly doubt it. On a side note, didn't Henry push for a move in his prime to Barca or did I dream that up?
  8. The club's misdemeanours aren't of any bearing to Hazard. I'd be more inclined to think in a similar manner to yourself, if we were in Utd's situation. He's arguably wanted to leave for 2-3 seasons now, so it's worked out well for both parties right now. Being in his prime or not is neither here nor there. Constant flirting with RM is something that will certainly tarish his rep to some. I'm one of them tbh, but there ain't loyalty in football anymore.
  9. Why are you seemingly bitter about is departure? He's left on what is relatively good terms unlike is fellow countryman.
  10. He leaves as a legend. However, the saga comes to an end.
  11. It seems like we won't be signing players, then.
  12. 5 right now and imagine if one is injured. 1 rotation option isn't enough.
  13. I don't either, but I don't see him getting another chance at Milan. Who else is actively interested in him?
  14. As of now, yes. A lot depends on we have as manager and how they want to play. I suspect Baka will at least have preseason with us, so we wouldn't be short in numbers even with a 3 man midfield (Jorginho, Kante, Baka, Pasalic, Mount, Barkley and RLC next year).
  15. I'm sure if guarantees were made, he would be back in the squad. I'm not sure myself, but I doubt there would be any issues now having played in multiple countries around Europe & a few caps for Croatia.
  16. We have a better Croatian on our books.
  17. One was effectively part of the Sarri and the other one was a six month loan signing. They didn't exactly go all guns blazing.
  18. Of course it's including bonuses. Probably just over £100m for the sale alone.
  19. When was the last time a manager ws given the luxury of picking his own targets? I'd prefer Cech to be involved in potential transfers than someone that hasn't a clue about the game. Anyway, let's get back to the topic at hand.
  20. Is signing players not part of running a club or do we catch them with Poke balls?
  21. Baba Rahman & Jay Dasilva, to name two.
  22. I'm sure they still have a big name signing in their sights aside from Hazard. Frankfurt made 10x profit in a matter of weeks, so it was sensible on their part not to get greedy. Also, I'd be surprised if there isn't a few addons too, should he succeed.
  23. Cech is supposedly the first of many, so it's clearly a step in the right direction judging on what's gone before it. The names you mentioned haven't held notable positions from what I know and they didn't have much say, if any, about the running of the club. We have more than two LB's at the club.
