  1. As much as it might seem like a joke to most, he at least provided some competition. Sancho & Madueke have put in 0/10 performances multiple times since December but continued to keep their places because there isn't anyone else.
  2. Anselmino deserves a start after our defensive performances over the past 6 days.
  3. We have arguably putting in a worse performance than Saturday. Maresca clearly didn't learn a thing from that encounter either.
  4. A joke. Have you seen the size of these central defenders for Brighton.
  5. One pass. The less said about Chalobah, the better.
  6. Of all players for that to fall to. Palmer with a terrible miss. Another injury here?
  7. If Nkunku is playing CF again, it's going to be a long night.
  8. Yet, Maresca seems to change his mind, game to game. Ultimately, the above is good news, but it shouldn't have taken five mistakes leading directly to goals for this to finally happen.
  9. They'll be regretting his move to Saudi didn't happen. He's been in and out of the team for most of the season thus far.
  10. We have Anselmino, Estavio, Paez, & Penders to name a few. The next wave of talent are already on our books, so it's whether they live up to the hype or given the time to adjust to the EPL.
  11. Haaland has been a passenger for most of the game but has two goals. How I would love that rather than "he stretches defences with his movement."
  12. He's signed players for the short term, which isn't sustainable when build a squad to compete over a period of time. There's a reason he wins in short period of time before "kicking up a fuss." I don't think ability was the reason behind his limit playtime. Maresca never wanted him and everything pointed to him being a board signing or to more precise, a makeweight.
  13. The season isn't over. As @DDA said, there are serious issues with how the club are being run, so the negativity going around is understandable. Saturday's result just added more fuel to the fire.
  14. The issue is this board. They want full control, and that was exactly why Tuchel was sacked, and since then, they've appointed "Yes" men. At this point, Enzo is no different despite initial impressions. That goes for your second point, too. Our team is built to develop talent, not challenge (feeder club mentality). On a side note about Brighton's win, do people forget we destroyed the same team at the Bridge last time we played? Brighton didn't do anything special; we just offered nothing after scoring and made mistakes that gave them the win. If this was a PL game, their winner is probably chalked off for Lamptey's handball.
  15. Someone who isn't a novice would help. I personally don't see there being that many issues unless I'm blind to it. If we signed a top quality CB, CF, and kept Petrovic in the summer, we might have actually been a competitive side.
  16. The chance to sack him was before the window opened or just after. It makes absolutely no sense right now unless things became dire. At this point, I serious hope those at the top are still bickering with one another, so an investor with some clue about the game comes in.
  17. He was playing in Argentina not so long ago, so I'd reserve judgment for another season. If you've watched Atalanta at times, he hasn't been a nailed on starter for them.
  18. It's been the same story for almost two months. Score first, do nothing for the rest of the match. How is next Friday going to be any different? If Jackson & Guiu are out long term, we aren't getting top four.
  19. As I mentioned previously, the lack of competition for places is really hurting us.
  20. I don't know what has happened to Sancho. It feels like he has gotten off far too easily despite dropping subpar performances for weeks.
  21. Or Palmer out right, so he can cut in. I know Palmer might be best placed centrally, but it's a team game after all. Maresca's reluctance to move him at all is extremely frustrating.
  22. Not sure what Nkunku didn't shoot. I'm sure I remember Neto playing centrally for Wolves at some point. I'd much prefer that than watching the former "try" to play CF.
  23. Not if they GK for Chelsea, it seems.
  24. He's had more chances than a cat has lives.
  25. I don't want to see Sanchez's face anywhere, but is this a sign that he's been pushed down the pecking order? I certainly hope so.
