The number of players at Atalanta that would have a notable effect on our squad is crazy, yet here we are overpaying for fun.

Nottingham Forest have effectively bought a new squad. It will be interesting to see if they follow the same fate as Fulham a few years back.

That was meant to cause constraints due to limited expendable income. So much for that with prices going around. The world is certainly in a dire state right now & it's probably going to be a while before things change for the better in the slightest.

I'm someone who was a big fan of Antony during his first season in Europe & wanted him ahead of Raphinha, who most preferred. His performances dipped last season, which tends to happen quite often as they're unable to replicate their form. It's honestly mind-blowing that Ajax has managed to rinse United for that much. High transfer fees seem to no longer reflect end product, and this is a worrying trend.

I think we could get it done if we put a substantial bid in that includes Ziyech,. The worry would be getting it over the line, going off the amateurish nature of our dealings thus far.

I really hope there's some truth in these Leao rumours. I don't think we'll have much of a chance tbh. RM have yet to make a notable addition to their attack since Hazard joined (to much surprise), so I could see them wrapping him up early if we wait around.

There's surely no way Tuchel fields the same front three. Starting Broja would make perfect sense considering the opposition.

I was going to say the same thing. They threw away top four last season with three straight defeats. It's not how you start, but how you finish.
