Liverpool are somehow worse than us.

I wholeheartedly disagree. We might be playing amazing free-flowing football, but we're creating chances that a competent CF would be tucking away. Just rewatch the last five or so games and tell me how many real chances has Havertz fluffed. Wrongly so. We aren't going to magically turn a corner if Potter doesn't switch things up.

They have a habit of being top at Christmas, only to go on and collapse (only side to do so in recent years, IIRC).

Who had our best chance tonight? I'm not saying overuse him; just give him a chance to impress and earn a spot. If we keep fielding Havertz, we'll do more damage to the club than anything else.

Would Real really block Endrick's chance to slot right in, as that was supposedly the main reason he chose them? If Barcelona are even in the running, they should sell every right they have.

If Napoli holds out for that kind of money, the number of suitors will be limited (US, PSG, or United if they are bought). Napoli did have an interest in Broja. If a player plus cash deal were possible, I'd reluctantly accept it.

This narrative of a false nine working for other teams, so that is the answer for us as well, is stupid. We were at our best when we had a vocal point (Drogba, Costa, etc) on both fronts. Benzema could even be an outside option, but it would hinge on a number of factors.

I still feel like we missed a trick with Danjuma despite our attacking incomings. None of those names really instil much excitement for me at this moment in time. I'd rather put our hopes in Broja/Fofana.
