How many games have we even won/lost when Bakayoko has played. Seems like all the games where he has been involved have turned out shit apart from the Atletico game

To be honest I've never really heard anyone enjoying living in London (or any other big city for that matter). People move there because of career, not because they love their two-hour commute, crowding and pollution. Best way to make Alvaro comfortable is by playing good, attacking football so he gets as many chances in front of goal as possible, not by guiding him to the best restaurants in Soho.

Good lineup! I think moving Azpi to LWB and playing Rudiger-Christensen-Luiz could make the two-man midfield work a bit better as then all of our best ball-playing CBs would on the pitch at the same time and Azpi could protect the defense and midfield better than Alonso. Nevertheless, happy with the XI

I wish Musonda would play with Hazard or Pedro instead. The former knows what do with the ball unlike Willian, and the latter makes decisive runs and offers that directness Willian can only dream about. It must be really frustrating to play with the Brazilian at times, if not at all times. Maybe with Hazard or Pedro Musonda could really shine and show what he's all about? There's no way Conte can drop Rudiger in his current form. Either drop Cahill or Azpilicueta, or play Azpi as a wingback but Rudiger should definitely not be on the bench.

There's literally nothing I hate more than seeing Cahill hoof the ball every single time he gets pressured

Azpi is also our best LWB at the moment. For the next game I'd choose: Christensen - Luiz - Rudiger Zappa/Moses/Pedro - Bakayoko - Fabregas - Azpilicueta

Conte clearly has Morata in his PL Fantasy team as he waited until the 61st minute before the substitution

Should have spent that 100 million in wingbacks like City and a lot of things would be different right now but it didn't happen and here we are in midst of a crisis thinking about switching the system. Let's remember that the wingback position is arguably the most important in this system, and our players for those positions are the weakest link in this squad. Alonso and Moses/Zappacosta would have hard time making it to the starting lineup at Everton nevermind other actual top clubs. Then there is midfield which was in ruins during the games against City, Palace and Roma. It's still early days but Bakayoko doesn't seem to be the player we were looking for. The board should have bought a more mobile and more technical version of Matic but instead they bought a bigger version of Ramires. Let's hope Drinkwater turns out to be a good signing as there is still hope if he and Kante can once again form a solid midfield partnership.

He definitely needs a rest. Putting Rudiger for his place in the second half wouldn't be the worst move.

Looks good but I'd really like Zappacosta to have a start in this one. Moses has been subpar all season.

We need a player like Modric or Verratti, not this clown who always goes quiet when it matters the most.

For the past five seasons Mourinho and Conte have urged him to develop that side in his game and I think we are finally starting to see it in his game more and more. For instance, against Atletico he seemed really keen on scoring and far more selfish that usually.

The board made a series of outstanding signings in the beginning of the decade when they signed De Bruyne, Courtois and Azpilicueta among others for peanuts. In the new era signing players promising players like De Bruyne for cheap is financially more important than ever so let's hope the board will recover their form from earlier years and the scouts stay at the top of their game. Also, considering the premium on English players, they should really focus on finding the best local talents. How the hell did Tottenham get Alli for £5 million two and half years ago? The kid is worth nearly £150 million today. That also shows how detached these valuations are from the real world where inflation isn't that great. Spurs could nearly finance their new stadium just by selling Kane and Alli!
