Just get Heskey ffs
-
Wtf I wonder how much that outfit cost in the Matrix.
-
Weak finishing, just what we need
-
Surely not, Eden has been appalling recently. He looks lazy, unmotivated and even when he has a chance to shoot he just decides to do couple more dribbles and Cruijff turns for no reason.
-
Where is he going to play if United get Sanchez? I see Martial/Rashford, Lukaku, Sanchez, Pogba and Lingard reserving the attacking roles for now and he'll soon become surplus to requirements. Maybe a cheeky bid for Mata wouldn't be such a bad idea? We could seriously use some creativity in the team.
-
I'm not sure the people in charge realize how radically a new LWB (Sandro) and a RW (Mahrez) would transform this team. If they understood this I bet they would at least try to do something. Surely the ≈100 million spent on these two players would not be a world ending scenario when you have a loan army the size of French Foreign Legion ready to be sold for large profits in addition to the deadwood in the first team squad that need to be sold as well.
-
Well the truth is that we have been dependent on one guy for large parts of this decade. Before it was Drogba or Lampard, then it was Mata and now it's Hazard. Without these players on top form the team always struggled.
-
Yeah he has been horrific recently but the formation of the team don't do him any favours either. I thought we would moving towards more possession based football this season but the reality has been quite the opposite. I think that's what he thought as well when he signed the contract. Costa would be FAR better in this current style of football we play.
-
If you would make a combined best XI of Spurs and Chelsea players, only Hazard, Kante, Azpilicueta, Christensen and Courtois would enter into that team from our side. Only one of the five is an attacking player. Spurs are technically far better and indefinitely more lethal in front of the goal.
-
3-5-2 against Leicester. This is BS
-
Hazard? Wtf
-
I reckon there will be lot of 0-0 games in the latter half of this season.
-
Pedro for Alonso and Willian for Moses
-
Cruijff was talking about replacing goalkeepers with actual football players like four decades ago. What Pep has been doing with Neuer and Ederson is hardly revolutionary.
-
Sane, D.Silva, B.Silva, Gundogan, Sterling, De Bruyne, Aguero, Jesus, Sanchez.... City now got 9 attacking minded technical players and each one of them would walk straight into our starting XI
-
I don't understand what has happened to him. His performances went from world class to bang average over the summer.
-
Well that's basically how most corporations operate nowadays. We can thank modern accountancy, Excel sheets and clueless executives for that.
-
Kante – Drinkwater – Barkley is definitely the way to go IMO. Fabregas coming off the bench in the last 30 mins like last season
-
This is the problem with these sky-high transfer fees. These are still people, not non-human commodities, and there are never guarantees the players will deliver and sometimes you find yourself with 40 million worth of garbage in your hand. With that money they could have covered all the costs the are to run the Academy for 4 years.
-
Man that was beyond terrible but there's hope since usually we are able to improve in the second half
-
Is Telles good enough though? He seems quite solid defensively but I'm not sure if his attacking play is at a very high level. He would need to very effective in the final third as that's the only way Conte can justify dropping Alonso in his current form.
-
Various sources sounds convincing
-
Barkley done. Now give Juve an open check, get Sandro and close the transfer window.
-
Probably the closest thing to Lampard-esque player there is in the Premier League. I suspect we'll be seeing plenty of goals from him if he plays the same role Bakayoko has been playing in recent games.
-
Seems like a very good deal for the price. He's no Lamps but I bet he will score plenty of goals in that role Bakayoko has been playing recently.
