  1. No way man! I'm not giving up hope! There's a whole month to go yet in the transfer window, and a lot can happen in that time! We just need to sit tight and be patient! We all gave up on Essien when Chelsea tried to sign him a few years ago, and he wanted to come to us. Aulas kept delaying and blocking the move because he wanted to keep him at Lyon, but coming to the end of the summer, he finally gave in, and then he came to us. It's the same with Cerezo and Aguero. Cerezo wants him to stay at Atletico, but Aguero has expressed his desire to go to Chelsea. I'm sorry, but when I see stuff like that, things look up for me. I'm not giving up on this possible signing just yet.
  2. His buy-out clause is like £40 million or something stupid right??
  3. Like Lyon did with Essien! Jean Michel Aulas became public enemy number one for us over that transfer saga!
  4. that's very true you know!
  5. As if they need another striker. Adebayor, Tevez and Santa Cruz. Although Bellamy will probably go elsewhere But those three strikers.... Mancini will have a hard time rotating them, so why bring in another striker??
  6. And away we go with the injury list adding......
  7. I really hope the representatives at Chelsea will do the right thing by following suit and ban them!
  8. Just a quick question; who was the one who said that Ancelotti enjoys working with old players??
  9. I wasn't slagging Benayoun off at all, I was merely complaining about the lack of players we've signed. Benayoun is good, but he's a utility player who'll only be used for half of the season's games, so he isn't really a first team starter. We need players who are young and are guaranteed to get goals for us! Drogba and Anelka are in their 30s. Kalou isn't all that reliable up front, and Sturridge isn't proven enough... only in cup games. We need a decent "young" striker... Aguero *hint* *hint*
  10. This is the worst news imaginable!! I shall now call him "Judas Cole"... hope you have fun playing in the Europa League.... money grabbing traitor! All these clubs strengthening with top names, and all we've signed is a 30-year-old Benayoun!
  11. Yeah I agree, unless Bruma is solely going to a club to gain first team experience then this is a silly move. This has always been our problem! Loaning out players for a season, and then they enjoy themselves so much that they want to stay where they are... take Jack Cork at Burnley for example, although he did play in the friendly against Crystal Palace.
  12. I love Ancelotti as a manager, really... but if he doesn't bring Aguero to our club, he is a mug!!
  13. Well I guess you can say I'm going over the top, but sometimes the so called "tabloid crap", might be true. In football, you never know! I said "Judas" for a bit of funny banter, I didn't exactly mean it!
  14. let's hope he doesn't suck out Kakuta's chances eh TX?
  15. Essien shooting a ball wearing the new away kit ------- What Benayoun would look like in the away kit Taken from my PES 2010 game Thoughts?
  16. well, if that's the way forward for the club then I'm disappointed
  17. I say Kaka because he didn't cut it at Real Madrid, and paying £56 million was a gamble.
  18. John Terry's future in the England team is under severe threat, according to former Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro. Deposed skipper Terry incurred the wrath of manager Fabio Capello during England's dismal World Cup campaign when he suggested the players were ready to confront the Italian over his tactics and team selection. The Chelsea centre-back was forced to back down after Capello called his comments a "big mistake", but kept his place in the side before England were bundled out in the second round after a 4-1 humbling by Germany. Cannavaro, who won the World Cup with Italy in 2006 before suffering a humiliating group-stage exit in South Africa, knows Capello well after working under his compatriot at Real Madrid. And the experienced defender believes the strict disciplinarian will begin preparing for the 2012 European Championship by making sweeping changes to the Three Lions squad, with Terry the most at risk. "My thoughts are that John Terry won't be on the team sheet," Cannavaro told the Daily Star Sunday. "You don't cross Fabio and he won't want anybody disrupting his tournament again. "It was absolutely the correct decision for the English FA to keep Fabio on. He can make this England team his own now - and I would actually make them the favourites for Euro 2012. "When he joined Real Madrid he brought a lot of players in the first season like myself and Ruud van Nistelrooy and the result was instant success but internationally it takes time to build your own team. "I don't want to speak for Fabio but I'd be surprised if more than five of the players who started against Germany start the opening game of Euro 2012. "For me, the only two players that can be guaranteed to start in 2012 are Ashley Cole and Wayne Rooney. "By then Fabio will have had enough time to build his own team and I think it will be unrecognisable compared to what it was at the World Cup. "Spain will be there but if Fabio gets rid of egos, I think England will see exactly why it was a good decision to keep him on." --------------------------------------------------------------- Source:- Sporting Life (and other sources) including "SkySports" --------------------------------------------------------------- What is it about Chelsea players that people just love to gloat about?? Is it because we're easy targets for the press?
  19. Yeah I agree. At Least Aguero has said he wants to go to Chelsea, unlike Torres.
