  1. That is a formation I 100% agree with. I also believe McEachran can play in Essien's position. I honestly don't think Essien has been that great in recent games.
  2. Drogba?? -- I hate to admit it, but I actually believe he will go in the summer. I think with the arrival of Torres, and the system Chelsea play, I don't think Drogba and Torres can play in the same team. Malouda?? -- NO! He may be a 30-something but he still plays well, and has a lot of pace for a player of his age, definitely not a player to sell. Bosingwa?? Zhirkov?? -- I agree with Alex (BlueLion) ... they are replaceable. I feel a good couple of deals for van der Wiel and Alexis Sanchez will be good replacements for the two. Bosingwa might want to head to Spain or Italy, while Zhirkov wants to return to Russia. Mikel?? -- BIG NO! He may be sloppy at times but on a good day, he's the closest we have to a Makelele right now. Sometimes I feel rather happy that he's there because he knows how to put in a tackle, and get play going.
  3. That is bloody genious!! That's going in my sig!!
  4. Roman is certainly not bored then, which is good to know!! Can't wait for us to get Alexis Sanchez in the summer!! Hopefully we can see him fizzing down the wing next season and crossing in the ball for Torres!
  5. SWP was a quality player, we should never have sold him anyway, despite the fact he wasn't played enough!
  6. If we're talking about the worst team of the decade... Bosnich Johnson - Bogarde - Ben-Haim - Del Horno Quaresma - Veron - Sidwell - Abrosetti Mutu - Sutton Subs: Sullivan, Høgh, Panucci, Jokanovic, Jarosik, Pizarro, Shevchenko
  7. It will be even more of a laughing stock if Torres gets an injury
  8. This thread is up so that we can all share our Chelsea team of the decade from 2000 to 2010 So no adding Torres as he was bought in 2011 Okay here's my team.... Cech Bosingwa Carvalho Terry A. Cole Makelele Essien Lampard Robben Zola Drogba ----- Subs: Cudicini, Gallas, Ivanovic, Ballack, Gudjohnsen, Anelka, Hasselbaink
  9. (to be sung IF Chelsea are winning 7-0, it's almost the end of the game, and Gerrard gets fouled) STEVIE'S LIVERPOOL SLUM THEY'VE LOST SEVEN NIL AND THEY'RE OUT OF THE CUP HE'S KICKED BY JT AND HE CAN'T GET BACK UP STEVIE'S LIVERPOOL SLUM you heard it here first!
  10. as I said a few days ago, Sturridge will come back from Bolton with games under his belt, and Torres can help him along
  11. No doubt, there would be an official Chelsea song made about that!
  12. Don't need him.... enough said
  13. well, as long as he has his hair like that, I shall give him the nickname, "Chet" if anyone knows the "Awesome Video Games" series on youtube you'll know what I'm on about

  15. It's a bit late, but welcome to the forums mate! It was a really good game tonight! Sessegnon looks like he's going to do well for Sunderland, I reckon he was fantastic for you in the first half! A few more performances like that and you'll have a great player on your books! Good luck with the rest of the season!
  16. I see where you're coming from, but if you compare David Luiz to Alex.... Alex and Terry are two very similar defenders, neither of which are a Carvalho-esque player in truth, and that's why... in recent games, our form has not been up to scratch. If you look at David Luiz. He's a proven sweeper... a centre back with pace, someone who is brave enough to go into tackles. Carvalho was like for many years, alongside Terry, and our defence was rock solid, and we won 3 titles because of it. You also need to take into account that JT's back problems are still around, and whenever he gets a tweak, or a knock that affects this, he could be out for some time, and you need players like Ivanovic and Luiz (great partnership I might add) to fill his gap. And I only say Ivanovic because his form is immaculate, and... unfortunately for Alex... his injury will prove dividends! And that's partially what I'm nervous about because I really like Alex as a player.
  17. Anelka was a fucking machine! he deserved man of the match today! No contest! :blue scalf:
  18. Anelka was a machine today!! Absolute fucking machine!! Man of the match for me by far.... ...Torres keep note, this team might not be easy to get into as you might think!
