Traore at Left Back at the moment is absolutely laughable! Probably the only thing that excited me, was Loftus-Cheek's early opportunity, dummying past the defender to get a shot in.. First half as a whole, Fiorentina looked better than us! Midfield completely invisible.. and Falcao is suffering because of it. Link-up.. there is none!

Anyone got a stream??

Hopefully we'll successfully sign this guy, and then we won't have to cough up £15m for Danny "I'm a poor man's Ryan Bertrand" Rose! The only rose I'd like to buy, is one for whoever becomes my next girlfriend! (which will be never)

*looks at a calendar* No we are DEFINITELY past 1st April I'm sure of it... This has to be a wind-up.. just think, we sold Ryan Bertrand to Southampton for £10m.. and now we go and throw £15m at Rotten-ham for Danny fucking Rose.. Seriously, if we don't have a well-established young English left-back that's good as, if not better than Danny Rose we might as well shut Cobham down! Jesus christ!

Falcao HAS to be a starter against Fiorentina tomorrrow.. I would love it if he could surprise us, and put on a great performance!

Would like to see this starting eleven vs Fiorentina.. Tibs Ivanovic - Terry © - Zouma - Azpi Matic - Oscar Cuadrado - Willian - Hazard Falcao I only put Willian as a CAM because I'd like to see how he can operate there, as opposed to a RW, because players like Cuadrado need game time, and it would be ideal for a fellow international to play alongside Falcao so it will help him settle in faster. Oscar is at CM because I wouldn't mind seeing him try to impress Mourinho in that position, because during the conclusion of last season, he was absolute dogshite.. pushed off the ball too easily, indecisive passes, poor vision, unnecessary shooting from far out.. this will be a chance for him, before the start of the season, to prove he can be more sensible with the ball.. Fabregas to replace him either at half-time or at 60 mins! Ramires could potentially be an alternative to replace Oscar, but I really don't like his game at the moment. He's just like Mikel at times, in that he can be too indecisive when going in for a tackle. I feel he can be far too aggressive at times and it leads to us getting an early booking, in areas where we need to be solid, and not careful of losing a man! If Ramires is chosen by Mourinho, he needs to work more as a box-to-box, rather than a tackler.. let Matic do that work because he's a tank at that.. Matic is the closest we have to Makelele. he reads the game, he breaks up the play, he passes into space. Ramires on the other hand.. NEEDS to use his uber Stamina to good use and carry the ball forward, rather than having a dig at the opposition tackle-wise. The way I've always liked our Chelsea midfield to operate, is that if we have two CMs that work in two completely different ways. One breaks up the play and protects the defense, the other is the pacy ball carrier that starts something and offers support to the CAM. We have the play breaker in Matic and it's adament that he starts in every game (the fact that Mikel is a similar build to Matic probably explains why he hardly gets a look-in .. two similar players. We tried Matic-Mikel at Spurs and we lost 5-3*), but then we have the choice of partnering Matic with either Fabregas, Oscar or Ramires. I think Mourinho needs to try all 3 out at some stage and decide who can work efficiently next to Matic, and whoever performs well, start him regularly. Also, if RLC has learned anything from his spat with Mourinho after the tour of Australia, maybe he'll get his chance too! * The fact that Matic and Mikel were two similar play-breakers against Spurs meant was that there was no pace in midfield, and you had a situation where you had our wingers working tirelessly trying to fend for themselves, but with a lack of support. That's why Hazard did brilliantly in that game.. it was just our defense that didn't have a good day, and Spurs just picked us off!

I was wondering why I couldn't see you active around here.. now that I've seen this thread I now know why! A little late this, but best of luck to you Chuolo... thanks for all that you've done and take care!
-
Sorry to put this bluntly, but I don't really give 2 shits about Mourinho's record against Wenger! 38 League Games, 13 Champions League games and 10 FA Cup Games determine next season, not puny records! Records come and go.. our trophies don't!

Losing to Arsenal whatever the occasion is NEVER fun! If you live with 4 Arsenal supporters it's even worse! If I had a worst enemy who supported Chelsea, I wouldn't wish it upon them!
-
That's pretty much what it was to be fair.. the way Arsenal set up, it was as if they were inviting us to make the dirty tackles and make us seem agitated. By doing that, it weakens our stronghold in defence, and it allows opposing teams to attack effortlessly. it also slows down our game impeccably! We did that against PSG in the Champions League last season if I recall.. PSG played with confidence in attack, and because we'll do anything to slow the pace down, we'll tackle by any means necessary, even if it means chop down the odd player here and there. When we got agitated, Ibrahimovic called our team "babies".. and that's what flumped our performance. Same thing today! We have to make sure it doesn't happen this season, otherwise, big games will cost us big points, and we'll start struggling again!
-
I've never really liked Paul Merson's thoughts on games.. he can be incredibly biased!
-
We did fuck all today.. Arsenal deserve the win because we didn't turn up! Hardly threatened.. big Pete didn't have to do much! Disappointed!
-
If we play like that against the bigger clubs we have not got a hope in hell.. especially when Arsenal were lacking so much in the midfield, players like Matic and Fabregas could easily dominate start counter attacks.. .. we've done fuck all!
-
Sorry guys but that performance was absolutely abysmal!
-
Ramires needs to seriously stop going in hard on tackles! It's the ONE weakness to his game, and he seems to do that more than anything else!
-
A typical Arsenal approach this game.. all out attack, find any weaknesses in our defence, draw us out, make us perform dirty tackles, rough us up, play tiki-taka, score goals. We've kept it at 0-1 but like Alex said, I'm not overly concerend about this performance so far. People seem to forget, that this is the time of the season where Arsenal fans get cocky and think they're going to dominate.. after winning a trophy they made up! Come the end of the season, they'll be a nice 3rd-4th waiting for them! I'm watching the game whilst staying quiet and saying nothing.. (I live with Arsenal supporters)
-
Don't need to write anything here.. this pretty much sums up my thoughts. And now that I live with 4 (YES, FOUR) Arsenal supporters, you can understand the agony that I have to live with if we lose this!
-
I wouldn't mind seeing Falcao play some part in this game just so that we can see what he can do for us!
-
You know the people who actually voted either know nothing about football.. are stubborn Arsenal fans who believe in one thing.. or both combined! I reckon it's both.. ..you get strange individuals on Twitter anyway!
-
Fabian Delph clutching his hamstring...
-
Lee Nelson did what every football fan has wanted to go for a long time! As for Sepp.. it couldn't have happened to a nicer chap to be fair!
-
So Mourinho has no interest in signing a quality player in Pedro from Barcelona, but is willing to give players like Victor Moses a chance....
-
"I think everybody has an interest in Pogba. But there are things you can do and things you cannot do. I love the Eiffel Tower, but I can't have the Eiffel Tower in my garden. I can't even have the Eiffel Tower of Las Vegas." ~ Jose Mourinho on Paul Pogba
-
If Laporta wins the election, we can pretty much forget signing anyone from Barca, including Messi and Pedro!

Found a picture of Joe Hart meeting new team-mates Raheem $terling and Fabian D£lph for the first time!
