Yeah that's the reality of it really.. I would love it if one day Chelsea signed a Swedish player, even if it did end up being Ibrahimovic (which is unlikely because of Falcao's imminent arrival).. the best we've been able to muster in the last few years are Magnus Hedman (who never played a single game) and Amin Affane! At least there's Hedvig Lindahl for the ladies I suppose!

A Vidal-Oscar swap would be a very tasty bit of business if I'm being honest!

That's what's so stupid about Arsenal fans, they'll spurt out the next big player they sign to be their most world class in the club's history, and then when the club sells them to a rival, they'll disregard them off the face of the earth and call them judas! I wonder what would happen if one day, Alexis Sanchez thought what Petr Cech thought.. about wanting a new challenge, but staying in the BPL.. and then he joined someone like us or Man City? Are Arsenal going to burn shirts and issue death threats and boo him every time he gets the ball? They're pathetic the lot of them!

Thinking about this deal.. I still think £10m is too small a fee.. I think that if we knew, that we'd have had no choice but to let him go, the least we could have done is hold out for more money for him.. test Arsenal's resolve, but no.. too lenient!

Don't know much about this kid.. only thing I know is that even if we did manage to strike a deal to get him, we'd need a work permit in place, surely. I only bring it up because we signed Bertrand Traore in 2013, and we've only just managed to get a permit for him. Plus I do recall one Serbian defender who we struggled to get a permit for. Anyone remember Slobodan Rajkovic (now plays for PAOK)?

I have no objection to Stoke having Moses! As long as a keeper is in place before Cech moves on, I'll be more than happy for it to happen!

I'm in defeat thinking that Cech will go to Arsenal eventually.. but I still think we're just letting them run proceedings in terms of the transfer fee.. and/or any other player that could be part of the deal. I honestly thought we had more resilience than this. Shouldn't we be holding them to ransom, saying something like "we won't put a deal for Cech in place unless you at least have the decency to throw in a player as part of the deal, making things fair for both clubs". But no, dealing with Arsenal is just like dealing with any other London rival! If it were up to me, I would sit down with Cech and convince him to reconsider the possibilities. He'll end up at PSG and we laugh in Arsenal's face for being too tight and stubborn! Honestly, with the exception of my family, I utterly cannot stand Arsenal and their fans (and Liverpool of course).

Well the rest of the family are going to be noisy.. me on the other hand am going to cry on the bed and hug a pillow! At least we have Tibs and Cesc!
