  1. Tal Ben Haim's still got it for the Blues :blue scalf:
  2. I totally agree with you! What seems like a pointless signing at best, always turns out to be a useful one! Trouble is, Benayoun hardly played a majority of the season because he was out injured. Benayoun is injury prone, so is Parker!
  3. This piece of news has to be the best thing since sliced bread! Hopefully both players will be under Boas' plans for the new season, and they will both get plenty of games!
  4. I've never been a fan of massive collars! Also, why does that black area above the yello strip have to be there! The shirt would look ten times better without it!
  5. it's a tad late I know, as I've had to be away from the forum myself for a little while, but welcome back to the forums Steve!! :blue scalf:
  6. A real shame! Having Falcao in our team would have given us a real attacking balance, but I guess it's not going to happen now We have Torres and Drogba, and Sturridge in the pipeline, so it's not as if strikers are essential to sign in the market. All we need is someone who knows how to get Torres scoring freely again!! And that's Modric
  7. Apparently, we could sign Parker on a permanent basis according to the Telegraph Chelsea close to agreeing a permanent deal with West Ham for old boy Scott Parker
  8. Would it be wise to put in a bid for him now, since we seem to be more prepared to offer bigger wages than United??
  9. Essien keeps getting the same injuries and keeps being out for a lengthy period of time, so from that alone, if he keeps it up, he could have no choice but to hang up his boots. Marc Overmars had a similar case I seem to remember
  10. I really rate this guy actually! But we have Ramires and Mikel who play just as well, so we don't need him!
  11. Wait..... that has to be the most retarded proposal to sign a player we've ever thought of! We've never loaned a player during the summer transfer period while Abramovich has been our owner. A 30-year-old on loan to replace Essien. We can't be that desperate to sign players!!
  12. Is it on at the moment then, because I'm getting confused with the times! Otherwise it could be on much later over here, lika 12am or something??
  13. Chile against Peru I believe is about to start, or "has" started! Are there any streams knocking about??
  14. Pedro has signed a new deal at Barca, so he won't be leaving them
  15. Rajkovic is playing for us??? So does this mean he has a visa to play for us now?? That's the reason why he's spent the last few seasons on loan in Holland!!
  16. De Rossi is not a bit-part player, that's why I turn my nose up at the idea of him joining. Ramires and Mikel already do a fine job replacing Essien. Ramires has the speed, Mikel has the strength.
  17. I'm a bit late for this, but I would have voted for Kostas! Great contributor and great guy as well! Nicely deserved!
  18. I honestly don't believe this to be a good signing for us. For all it's worth, if Boas is looking to add flair to our squad, then Modric (should he join) and De Rossi wouldn't be able to fit into the same midfield. Hell Modric would be pushing out Mikel in our current squad, and Mikel is 24!
  19. Chelsea consider De Rossi Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly looking to Roma star Daniele De Rossi this summer. The midfielder’s future at his hometown club is by no means secure, as his contract expires in June 2012. So far there have been problems in negotiating a renewal, so the Giallorossi might have to sell in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea and their new manager Villas-Boas are lining up a bid to take advantage of the situation. De Rossi would be the ideal replacement for Michael Essien, who has picked up a serious injury that will keep him out for at least six months. The 2006 World Cup winner had already been linked with Chelsea under Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure. ----------------------------- Source:- Football Italia -----------------------------
  20. We're trying to reduce the age in our squad not increase it!! Just imagine replacing Alex with this guy... hmmm!
  21. When Robben left Chelsea, he went for £26 million!
