In that case, we need to loan him out again. Half a season at Fulham with no real guaranteed chances was wearing it a bit thin. A 2-year loan to Bolton would be really good, just like they got the best out of Sturridge! The good thing about a deal like that, is that it could allow us to attract someone like Gary Cahill to the club. Having said that, only if Alex leaves for Bayern Munich, would that idea of an approach make sense, but even still!

There are still plenty of pre season matches left to change that though!

I think zolayes has touched on some real positives actually. Especially about Bertrand! I thought he did really well at left back for us. Made some real good advances down the left and put in a few good crosses. Nice footwork too! I was actually shocked when van Aanholt came on. Boas could have at least waited until the end of the first half to bring van Aanholt on! Yossi is another good player on the ball, especially when he dummies the opposing player and gets into the box. His delivery isn't always perfect, but right now, as I keep saying, he's the closest we have to a playmaker at the moment, until Modric comes (or he doesn't at all). Turnbull looks as if he's matured more when making decisions. Not a whole lot mind, but enough not to make careless mistakes. He's not afraid to claim the ball at corners and he's fairly solid when handling the ball from a decent shot!

I think Larissa is entitled to take out her jugs regardless just for having Paraguay in the final!! :eyebrows:

With a display like that, we would be lucky to even get Europa League football! A display such as that, and no new signings this summer, you have to say that's extravagently worrying!! The one thing I hate about Chelsea, is the fact that when they have the ball up the field, because there's no creative player (a la Modric) to create play and provide quickly for the strikers, we have situations, where we try and play it around the defence, and all the opposition do is push us back, then when they get the ball, because we have so many players still forward, can just run at us, and we only 2 or 3 defenders back... normally it's Ivanovic and Cole that stay back!! A few times now in this second half that's happened! And my fucking stream is starting to freeze up!!

This Chelsea team is so painful to watch sometimes! Our creativity in this half has been a shambles!!

I have to say the current scoreline reflects our poor sense of attack in all fairness. I also think Brano and Rajkovic have done well at the back. But I'd be lying to you if I said we haven't had proper chances to score. Torres and Lampard have both been close on occaisions, which does show signs of improvement, and it will carry on in the second half. Boas will hopefully drum into the players that they will need to do this, and hopefully, Torres will bang in a couple!
