  1. "The plain apparently has lost all forward momentum due to the constant backing off by one of the England players" Poor Gary, trying so hard not to face any more premier league attackers he is even trying to stall the plane
  2. I understand the media tries to make a big deal out of anything that can be misinterpreted but i really don't understand why chelsea fans fall for it. There is litteraly nothing wrong in what he said, he didn't comment on anything, he stated facts about what happend. 'Mou decided to let him go and didn't play him, it wasn't my decision'. I mean, that is what happened or isn't it? That is just how things went. He didn't comment Mou was right or wrong in doing so, so nothing to see here
  3. I seriously hope you are not talking about me since i didn't start this nonsense about comparing players and debating which player is better. And it's ironic and kind of typifying that you first call this tread bullshit and then go on to propegate the same nonsense with two posts of your own. so once and for all: ALL I SAID IS THE STATS SEEM TO SUGGEST HE SHOULD TAKE MORE RISK AS ALOT OF PEOPLE ALREADY NOTICED BY THEMSELVES AS WELL. And this whole playmaking argument only goes so far. In the end, the object of the game is to win by scoring goals, so when you are in a situation one on one with a defender close to goals and a dribble+shot will have a higher % of succes of turning into a goal than an assist (remember that pass to Willian against West Ham) there is no reason to not go for it. If anyone else has some real FACTS and DATA that prove me wrong i have no problem with that and would actually welcome it but don't just start rambling about your sentiments towards Hazard and use them as arguments
  4. My bet is that he will go to Dortmund, but them not having Champions league could change things
  5. LOL, read it again then i would say. I'm saying he COULD improve the team even more than he already is. If i would imply that i expect this from him i would use words like SHOULD and I WANT HIM etc. To put it in simple words, all i am saying is he can become even better than he already is if he would take more risk and move towards the optimum of the risk/reward ratio. Didnt mean to be aggressive specifically towards you but this sort of stuff seem to happen to often with every post that is made around here and it tickled me in the wrong way this team, no hard feelings here
  6. I'm seriously starting to question the reading/comprehension ability of a lot of people on here. Where did i exactly say i 'expect' him to carry us even more??? All i said was that he could be even better if he starts making some low percentage shots/passes/dribbles with high rewards as his stats seem to suggest, and if his life goal is to win the ballon d'or he probably should start doing it. I know he does a whole lot else besides scoring etc. but for example when he is trough on goal facing the last line of defenders he should just go for it more and try to get his shots off instead of checking back wating for support which usually leads to nothing. When you try that you'll miss your shots more often and loose possession but overall you would have a better chance of scoring But it seems whenever you try to make a constructive post on here it is percieved as criticism and all the fanboys start crawling out of their caves ready to regurgitate the same old discussion again.....................sigh
  7. i understand what you are saying, and i agree that last season with no pressure on Mou to win something he could have given more opportunities. But this season where he HAS to win the league you can't expect him to start experimenting with fringe players and youngsters and such. And i don't feel we have much right to argue with it cause of Mou's record and the fact he knows how to win titles But if he really wants to become a long term manager of Chelsea he really should start thinking long term and doing it next season imo so until then i won't judge him for it too much
  8. : When i look at these stats and put them into context, I really feel Hazard could improve himself/us drastically You can look at these stats and say: wow, he's better than Bale and Suarez in so many area's. But that would not be the right way to look at it imo, because he's behind them in the two most important stats namely; goals and assists. His pass completion%, shot accuracy% and succesful dribbles% is higher but that just means he is not taking enough risks. There is a optimal line between risk/reward and this just shows Hazard is definitely below that line. In a team with alot of risk takers, this kind of Hazard would be perferct, he would bring balance to such a team by not taking alot of risk but still contributing an awful lot. But in Chelsea were there is such a void in our other AM's ability to contribute anything, he would improve the team enormously if he would just go for it more at times, take that long range shot, try to dribble past his two markers when he is in the box, try some more through passes. (a bit more like Coutinho now that i think about it but with the exception he actually has the skill to pull it off)
  9. And before anyone quote's me again without actually reading or understanding my posts. I've never said we didn't make a mistake with KdB. I really rate him as a player, but unlike most i actually try to form an honest opinion and not try to get distracted by stupid meaningless stats and blow his performances out of proportions. But to me the biggest mistake was bringing him back to soon. What happened last season were he didn't get enough playing time/wanted to leave was always gonna happen i feel, with the situation we were in. With Mou as a new coach, trying to establish a first XI with the right balance and finding out about its weaknesses. If Mou looks at our team now and assesses what could be better going into next season i really believe KdB could fix a lot of issues and Chelsea would have been the better for it
  10. WOW, this just gets me riled up. First of all, don't quote me ever again by picking out one half sentence out of context. THAT is pretentious and more suited to daily fail articles. Second, don't base your arguments on stupid facts that are meaningless and 'PROVE' NOTHING. For every victory he has had against top teams, you can give an example of a loss against a stupid team were he was anonymous. In the end everybody is playing for titles. Chelsea actually won something this year and is on the verge of winning the league so unless he actually starts being part of a team that actually wins something important i have every right to doubt he could be the main man of a big team (like i did mention in my post you quoted, but you conveniantly deleted it)
  11. I think he would most likely end up and United since they would practically be the only one to be able to pay the hefty fee without thinking twice about it. If that would happen though they would have yet another left footed attacking player. Would anyone like us to place a cheeky bid for Di Maria if that is the case? I would. Yes he's not been at his best this season but i feel he is just a little bit lost at United with their everchanging tactics and formation. I think he would come good under Mou (don't think he had a problem with him at Madrid) and it would be nice to have another direct player in the team who can dribble past someone
  12. And then people say Mou doesnt start players because they don't take their chance when they get one. He's been taken all his chances and is still warming the bench too regularly
  13. An important thing to remember is that he was MOTM against Hull but even in that match he got subbed after 60 min. I think it's pretty clear Mou didn't rate him highly for whatever reason, much the same as with Mata. I remember some interviews with Jose last season were he was talking about the fact that having the right attitude is very important to him (understandable after his Real Madrid troubles) and after the omission of Dieter Hecking about the difficult persona of KdB my best guess would be that was the main reason he didn't rate him that high. Personally i don't think there is anything wrong with judging players on their charachter, especially if you are trying to build a squad with a certain profile where everybody is fighting for each other and such but in this case i feel he misjudged the potential of KDB as an attacking force and he should have given himself a serie of 90 min games to prove himself. And in a year with very little pressure to win anything it was stupid not to try out more things.
  14. Offcourse i'll take it as well, but it shouldn't happen but if we loose points were we shouldn't this seasons ending could get very scrappy and i wouldn't like seeing it happen
  15. I remember people saying the same thing when we had an 8 point lead going into december. It can vanish very quickly, and every point lost is gonna be costly, make no mistake about that. With some big games coming up where we will drop points we have very little room for error. The one thing i don't want us to do is win the title by default with 84 points or something simply because all the rest were shit. It would be a shame after such a good start and a little blemish on our title at the same time
  16. The one thing about all this praising of KDB is that everyone is just focussing on his Assisst/Goals stats (which definetly are impressive) but fail to ever mention all the things he needs to improve on. (i guess you still have to be a Chelsea player to recieve that treatment from fans). He is basically playing the 'mata' role, better known as the 'do whatever you want' role. Seeing the match yesterday it's clear that Wolfsburg play two banks of four with KDB in a supporting role to Bas Dost. You expect him to have a lot of assisst/goals playing that role since every attack goes through him. But Chelsea don't play that way. When have you ever seen Oscar walking around the pitch when out of possession? So he would never be that kind of 10 in Chelsea under Mou. If he would have to put in all that energy doing defensive work his offensive output is gonna drop significantly and his weaknessess will come out more (like with Mata i feel). KdB excels when he has freedom to roam and he should be used to this effect. The question then would be if he is good enough to be given that role in a top team like Chelsea, I still have my doubts about this. And with Hazard in the team he would only get that on the right and not in the nr. 10 role. If I look at Chelsea now, the one thing were we need to improve drastically is our performances in big games. So I ask myself, would Chelsea have done better against teams like PSG with KdB instead of Oscar like many on here seem to suggest? Just imagine a midfield of Matic, Cesc, Kdb. We would get overrun by sides like PSG with ease, although our counterattack would actually be more effective though. It's a shame we lost him cause he definetly has the ability to make it here. We brought him back to soon i feel and was never going to get enough playing time to show off his worth at a time when we had 6 AM's in the team, one of which was our POTY who himself wasn't getting many chances. Imagine he would just still be on loan these last two seasons with this kind of output, he would have basically been able to demand a starting spot much like Courtois did when he came back
  17. I noticed this as well, but surely this is one of those things that can be worked on at the training ground. But there has been no improvement since the start of last season. That's what is bugging me, Jose makes sure players like Hazard improve when it comes to defending in tracking back etc. but doesn't seem to concerned trying to do the same attacking wise
  18. sigh, another one who knows all the facts nobody else seems to know . Nothing new to see here people
  19. I'm not denying he would get some more opportunities in the middle but he won't take nearly enough, it's just not in his nature which should be pretty clear after almost 2 season of very little end product with us and in his previous seasons at shaktar. He seems to have the potential but it is not coming out and probably never will KDB performs better on the right than in the centre for the national team and he didn't have the same opportunities as Willian. Also there would be no discussion that he would produce more than Willain even if he was playing on the right. And i really feel Willian is overrated defensively, he has high work rate but that is about it. There are numerous times where i see him mess up by not tracking runs etc. (like for the Danny Rose goal in the Tottenham game). And his higher work rate doesn't seem to have any substantial impact in stopping opponents from terrorrizing that side. I don't blame him for that or anything since that shouldn't be his main duty, but it has to stop being an excuse for why he plays there since it's not working anyway and the problems lie with other players
  20. It won't make a difference. He just doesn't do anything that can lead to an assist or goal. He always goes for the easy pass He never dribbles past an opponent He doesnt make runs of the ball behind the opponents And his killer instinct is non existent How on earth do you ever gonna get assists/goals on a regular basis if you don't do any of that. Also, it's time to get rid of the myth he needs to play on the right to cover for Iva. He provided very little cover for him today and in fact that right side has been exposed badly plenty of times already with him in the team. And it's not like he is actual any good defensively. Sure, he makes certain he runs back but that is about it. The right side problem should be resolved by the rightback, the right centre back and the right pivot player, not a RW. We need at least one player there who actual wants to make tackles and win the ball on that side but neither Iva, Cahill or Cesc do that hence why opponents have so much joy running with the ball there
  21. If Mou is too stubborn to bench Iva i really feel he should just move Iva to RW. He offers more in attack, and at least the same in defence as Willain. Luis could then move to the left and finally give Hazard the support in attack we have been calling out for since last season And Azpi could move into his natural positon at RB and stop, what has become an open lane for opponents to drive through.
  22. The one thing that needs to improve is his passing speed. He tends to go on a walk with the ball towards players in space instead of passing until eventually the space is closed down and he doesn't know what to do
  23. Didn't like much from what i had seen from him before he joined but reserved my judgement until today, so here it goes: I never tought someone could make me miss Salah, but he is surely trying his best, horrible cameo. Only decent thing he did was that run in behind just to mess up the cross
  24. one of the worst performances of the season from any midfield player imo
  25. Another pace merchant who had ample of space to run in behind our slow defence which made him look good but he's nothing special
