  1. Ramires was my motm in the first half but kind of dissappeared in the second besides his shot against the post. Courtois would have been my motm but that mistake were he let go of that shot on goal was really amateurish and could have cost us. I think I have to go for Terry as motm, can you imagine if he was injured and we would have to play Zouma and Cahill there, no way we would have kept a clean sheet.
  2. Because we have to few technically gifted players who can keep possession under pressure
  3. This would be typically chelsea though. Give Burnley one chance and let them score, give West Ham a dozen and keep a clean sheet
  4. OMFG, we are going to pay for all these missed chances
  5. Was that Cahill just now who let Kouyate turn in the box and get a shot off?
  6. Ramires putting in one of the better right winger performances of the season. Says enough really
  7. Yes he has been good, people just got to get it into their head we don't play with a traditional nr 10
  8. Cahill nowhere near Valencia there, he's been awful so far
  9. LOL, what are these journalists smoking? Asking whether or not Matic will be playing against West Ham. Their inaptitude is shocking (but not really since it happens way too often).
  10. I just hope whatever CB we bring in, if any, he will be able to cope with playing a high line without constantly needing support from a DM and FB's since that will be the only way we will be able to play a more attacking kind of football
  11. I have my doubts about this. The return of Mou has certainly had a rejuvinated effect and he is performing outstanding at the moment but the whole process of building a new title winning squad is coming to a close at the end of he season if we win the title. He is not getting any younger and i think it will be hard for him to find the motivation (after achieving all what we set out to do when Mou returned) to maintain that high level that is required. Imo next year will probably be the final year of the transformation of Chelsea and the changing of the old guard with the replacement/leaving of Terry and Cech. Therefore i think it's vital to buy a new CB this summer who could replace him
  12. I can see us really struggle against West Ham. They have very pacey forwards in Valencia and Sakho who are good on the counter (oh, how i wished Caroll would be fit). We tend to struggle against teams with that profile especially if Cahill is one of the CB's, therefore i would have to go with Zouma as CB and find another solution to the pivot. City's title hopes have been given a real blow on Sunday and if we loose points now they might think it's back on and be really motivated again so it's really important to get 3 points.
  13. With City losing the max points they can get at the end of the season is 88. If they draw/loose another game they only can get 86/85 max point which won't be enough for the title imo (maybe 86 on goal difference). And i can't see this sluggish City team go on an 11 match winning streak. The Title is so freaking close!!!!! We just got to keep doing what we've been doing and show no complacency
  14. This is without a doubt the new gameplan from Mou: get fouls in good positions and try and score from then. That's why Hazard plays every minute of every game because he is so good at getting fouls
  15. Can we pleeeeeeeeeeeeease stop hoofing the ball whenever we are in possession
  16. I just don't understand these refs. How can you give a penalty AND a red card if you don't even know which player made the foul? If he sends of the wrong guy then that means he didn't see the foul and he is just guessing. Such awful refereeing and just mind boggling since it was a decisions that practically killed the match for Sunderland.
  17. Well, even if we were to lose then, I guess seeing Cahill in DM continously backing off and ending up behind our CB's and the bewilderment on the faces of Terry and Zouma as it happened would at least be good for some laughs
  18. I can see it before my eyes already. Cesc going forward supporting the attack and Ramires sitting, lol. Sending off waiting to happen. Like i said before Ramires+Cesc in the pivot is something Wenger would be proud of. It would be nice if we have someone in there who actually knows how to defend properly. And people really expect Mou, often described as a defensive minded coach, to actualy do this?
  19. Page 12 of this thread and people are still posting line ups with Ramires and Cesc in the pivot. It ain't gonna happen. Times like these I'm glad Mou is in charge of picking the line up.
  20. The more i think about it, the more i'm excited to see how he would fare there. If he does a good job he could be a better solution to either Mikel or Ramires in the bigger games where he would fill in for the role Luiz had last year. Altough a good Ramires is invaluable in a big game imo, maybe he could be moved to the right side then . And it would be nice to see Azpi, Luis and Ivanovic in the same line up since its always hard to drop one of them
