  1. ok, you got me, i exagerated, i can name just as many easy passes he misplaced, but the one thing that is bugging me most today about oscar is his lack of energy in defending. He's barely helping out. It has improved since the goal but before that he seemed very lacklustered
  2. First decent thing oscar has done, he sure does make it count and, HAZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD
  3. Get oscar off now!!! He is nowhere!!!
  4. You are only talking about the fact when he is in the box and trying to score a goal (and agree with you on that part), but I am talking when he is not in the box because he poses a problem in midfield as well with constantly bringing other people into play and you can't let your CB's try to deal with him since it will create huge gaps in our defence as there are many examples of that in the Tottenham/City game
  5. Fellaini is a target man but he definetly resides most of the time in midfield. That's why you need a midfielder to take care of him. If you watched the analysis on MNF it's clear what kind of problems it creates when one of our CB needs to pick him up, it drags alot of people out of position and creates space for other players to run into. The Mata goal was a good example of that
  6. I don't mind how Mou sets up in big games. The one thing i do mind is that it isn't working well anymore. We are not creating enough opportunities to score. Our counterattacking has been almost non existent since we don't really have the right kind of players for that anymore with the loss of Schurrle/Salah (only formation it might work with is Remy/Hazard/Willian/Ramires as the front 4) And for some reason we are incapable to play it out from the back so what we end up with is a game were we are constantly defending/hoofing it up field when we win the ball back/loose posession and start over again. Hence we are barely creating any scoring opportunities and are scraping results together mostly through a lot of luck (see QPR/Hull where we scored every single shot on target)
  7. I'd rather put Zouma on him. Fellaini has proven to be a very effective outball if they can't pass their way out of the pressing in his ability to bring down long balls. And i thnk Zouma himself is an aerial beast, much more than MIkel and will be able to compete with fellaini much better
  8. I have noticed this about him as well, whenever there is an AM in a little pocket of space he just simply refuses to give the ball to them. He usually just turns around/dribbles sideways and gets the ball out wide. Starting to get frustrating especially in combination with an out of form Cesc
  9. I remember when we signed him last year, there were people commenting on the fact he had some stamina problems and it's badly showing these days, but then again that's also partly due to Mou's refusal to rotate players
  10. Cahill was good because this is his level i think. Matic definetly the worst one of the bunch for me as well
  11. Horrible, horrible match. I blame the tactics mainly. We got a whole week to prepare and this is the best we can come up with, shocking! Refuse to give motm, nobody deserved it.
  12. He's getting worse match after match as this season is coming to a close. His passing today was woefully to say the least. Every time he was on the ball he either waited too long and got crowded or gifted the ball away by hoofing it blindley up the field. In the beginning of the season he at least redeemed himself by his terrific defending but he gets bypassed way to easily the last few matches
  13. first decent passing combination and we score, what a surprise
  14. with every shot on target we score, that's how we do
  15. We are doing a great job nullifying our most dangerous player by playing hoofball
  16. i swear to god, the ball has spend more time in the air than on the ground
  17. Not many goals in this team, think our best bet is to score from set pieces
  18. omg, just hope we don't lose anyone else for the rest of the season through suspension/injuries
  19. From Squawka: "No player in Europe's top 5 leagues has scored more goals on the counter-attack this season than Kevin de Bruyne (4)" A usefull stat for everyone who thinks he is not a counter-attack player
  20. You are not getting it. You are saying Neymar can make certain passes, but he doesnt do it or he doesnt see it. How can you be good at something you don't do?
  21. No, i don't think you are trying to bash Thibaut or anything. When a keeper gets beat from 66 yards he definetly could do something better. I'm just interested in what that is. Therefore I question your argument that it is down to his positioning since i would imagine it is the position he is told to take up by his coaches. To me it's more down to his late reaction that Adam is gonna shoot in the first place (since he has a reputation in doing so) and second, the way he reacts when he realizes it is a dangerous ball. Since he got a hand to it, he probably would have saved it if he was more alert. You can definetly question the position of Thibaut but i hardly think that is solely down to himself. I don't like it myself either when the goalkeeper is that far out but imo it has alot to do with our slow CB's which is another reason to start Zouma / get someone faster in the Summer
  22. Yes, but then you are talking about technical abilty. The act of making a pass is not the same as having good passing ability because that includes passing when you should and seeing a good pass when there is an opportunity to do so. And you yourself claimed Neymar is guilty off not doing these things, so to use his passing as an argument to why he is a good player is simply not right according to your own statements. It would for example be the same if i said Mikel is a good passer because he can complete a lot of passes each game while in reality he isn't because he slows everything down by passing sideways and backwards
  23. So what you are saying is that his passing is good if he decides to pass..... Well, if we are going to go in that direction, Torres is a very good goalscorer, if he decides not to screw up his shots
  24. because Hazard had to service Torres. Neymar has Messi, offcourse you will have more assists. Another poster who only looks at the number of the stats without actually trying to interpret them, great
