  1. Except according to all reports by the media and the words of the manager himself, Roman and the board were more involved in this deal than Mourinho himself.
  2. Enjoy your stay Matic. Because we sure as hell will!
  3. True. Although I prefer that we win by 1 goal difference playing well, than score 3 or 4 with a horrible performance, as we have seen happening before.
  4. Statistics said only 1 shot on target by Chelsea??? Have I been watching a different game?
  5. You guys have no fucking idea what a torture it is to be sneakingly watching a live stream of Chelsea at work, while having to keep a poker face at all times because of the boss. Our players don't make it easy either with all of those missed chances...
  6. Actually, they are. Let's not forget a large proportion of the MU fans hate them because of their financial handling of the club and unwillingness to invest. It will be interesting to see how they will deal with it.
  7. To be honest a lot of the games United lost this season, they came very close to winning them. So technically, it's true that the small edge Mata will give them could go a long way. Then, if they finish in the top 4, they will get to spend big money in the summer and be a big threat again next season. On the other hand, if they do not get into the top 4, they will find it very difficult to attract big names next season plus Rooney and perhaps RVP will likely want out. They will be left without a quality squad, without a quality manager, with huge financial trouble, without being able to attract stars AND a board not willing to spend. That will mean the definite end of United's era of domination and it will no longer be "just a transitional period". They will be just another Liverpool.
  8. "Salah told me personally that he wants to come to Chelsea" - Mourinho @last press conference. For me, that's better than any other rumor.
  9. Look on the bright side. Tactically speaking, Mata was never really the player they needed. People are quick to talk about a supposed moral boost that his signing will bring to the team. Well, first of all, the "hot and new" hype will wear out after a month. Secondly, a team that under preforms because it lacks quality and depth in several key positions, doesn't suddenly fix these issues with "a moral boost", otherwise clubs would be saving money by hiring psychologists and motivational speakers instead of quality athletes. My point is, the impact of Mata's transfer to United is being highly overrated in my opinion. The "moral boost" came at a 37 million cost and will therefore be accompanied by massive pressure. Can you guys imagine what will happen if United continues to under preform after the twats broke the bank and went mad celebrating the arrival of the messiah? Moyes' incompetence will go from being questionable to downright scandalous and embarrassing. May the boost last long enough for them to punish our rivals though.
  10. Manure fans at redcafe proudly celebrating the fact that they are so shit now that direct rivals aren't even afraid to sell them one of their best players anymore. Cunts.
  11. I liked Juan too and I'm somewhat against his transfer to United as well. I just don't agree with the schizophrenic drama queens here running around naked screaming it's the apocalypse.
  12. Except Jose made us Champions after a 50 year wait and he was the manager who first pushed this giant blue wheel that hasn't stopped moving since then. After his departure, the club went through serious trouble finding its place on top without him. Watching the club fail and its ex-manager shine elsewhere obviously had to make the fans frustrated. With Mata, the Chelsea fans will accept his departure as soon as we find another player who can single handedly carry us to the title and as soon as the team starts playing well without him... .....but wait, now that I think about it, despite his amazing quality, Mata never actually carried us through anything further than 3rd or 4th place and the team may not actually have a difficult time in finding a way to play well without him because... hum,.. it already is.
  13. If you're abandoning your club because it had the character to sell a valuable player to a non-threatening rival and give him the opportunity to shine ahead of the world cup instead of letting him rot on the bench, then you were never a real fan in the first place. Close the door on your way out.
  14. Mourinho didn't know what to expect from Arsenal + Ozil back then. It's obvious he wanted to be cautions and avoid giving them Ba. On the other hand, Manchester United is in the middle of a massive crisis, with a manager that seems to have no clue about what the fuck he's doing, they are 100% out of the title race AND they won't be facing us again this season. So I'll ask you these two questions: - If Manchester United was still a threat to us this season, would they still be getting Mata? - If Arsenal was in 7th place now after having already played us twice, and if Torres wasn't injured, would we still refuse to give them Ba? If you think the answer to both of those questions is "No", then NO, Jose is NOT contradicting himself. So please just shut up. Also, you're just making shit up. Mourinho never said he didn't want to strengthen Arsenal. " I did not accept Arsenal's offer for Demba Ba because they would have been title contenders " is VERY different from saying "I did not accept Arsenal's offer for Demba Ba because I didn't want to make them stronger".
  15. His contract says it's the club that decides what's his future. Mata is not deciding his future, Chelsea is. If we didn't want him to go to United, he wouldn't be going to United until his contract ends. Courtois should respect his contract and only start making demands when it's time to renegotiate it.
  16. I'm worried too. I fear Mata's departure will have an impact on Torres' consistency and make him stop scoring
  17. It can still be a tribute to Mata without having to be an attack on the manager. He gave a lot to the club and certainly deserves a last thank you. If I was there, I would applaud too even though I'm not against the deal.
  18. No matter what's your opinion on this, if you're a Chelsea fan you have to be at least happy knowing that under normal conditions, players who have made up their minds about joining one of our rivals will immediately freeze on the spot and make a 180 degree turn the moment they receive a call from Chelsea. This Salah kid had even rented an apartment in Liverpool already before Chelsea winked at him. The antis will say it's about the money but deep down they know it's not. Clubs such as Liverpool and Tottenham could give these players a wage just as high as ours if they really wanted to. Just look at how much they're paying Suarez. No, it's much more than that. Last year some newspaper made a list of the 100 greatest youth promises in football and Chelsea was the club with most of them. Our team is being cemented with the best youth in every single position. As soon as we reach the top, it will be a long time before we get out. Chelsea is that special club that became European Champion against all odds, and today, special Chelsea is reunited with its special manager. I think deep down a lot of players can sense that something truly brilliant is slowly being built here. The future is blue and they want to be a part of it. Alas, for a while we will have to listen to these jealous twats bitching about how we're hiring another quality player to be on our bench. Funny how the spuds fans said the same about Willian and now they have to listen to the Willian song every single game and be reminded over and over that the player chose us and still didn't regret it.
  19. But he already knows his future. It's written all over his contract and he can reread it if he forgets.
