  1. I'm glad we have clarified this misunderstanding. Besides different personal opinions about Oscar as a footballer, I really like your way and what you usually write, and I would never dare to use against somebody his own nationality: that would be really disgraceful if it had to happen, no matter who, no matter the discussion.
  2. I like every single thing you wrote in this thread.
  3. You really hasn't understood a damn thing on the bold part. Jesus, what I meant is that you maybe have a particular preference for Oscar since he is brazilian, like you. For the rest, I love Brasil, and brazilian footballers wrote the history of football. Really, what did you understand?
  4. If you pretend, because he is a Chelsea player (or maybe also Brazilian, right Barbara..) not to see the fact he often makes horrible decisions and 7/10 times he doesn't pass the ball to teammates in better position than him, then I can do nothing. To me, Mata, Hazard and Willian himself are now better than him; he sure possesses shear quality, but he has to really erase this flaw from his game. Also, Barbara, I think it's not up to you to judge accuracy of somebody's contribution and especially to question his Chelsea support.
  5. And nothing, these are two more reasons for which Willian is a great(er) player.
  6. And, unlike Oscar, he is not selfish and doesn't dive.
  7. Don't misunderstand me, what I meant is: "Eto'o near retirement does hattrick against united + Eto'o near retirement is now 15% at most of the World-beater he once was = just wonder how unbelievable this guy was in his prime and that's why he has been World's best striker for years". Oh, by the way: semi-retired Eto'o >> Torres.
  8. No, don't get me wrong: the team is working fine and doing really well. With "shame" I mean the fact we all know what Mata is capable of: magic player and real class and seeing him "wasted" like that makes me sad, for him and for the team quality; in other words, I strongly believe Chelsea would be a much stronger team with a fully integrated Mata in the playing system.
  9. And that's a shame to me, since I personally consider Mata to be a much better player. So much skill wasted: Josè should really do something about that.
  10. Awful today. Mata deserves a start: how can he be ranked behind Oscar is beyond me.
  11. So, I watched Eto'o for years and I can tell you he is past his best, but still he scores an hattrick against United... What if having Samuel Eto'o in his wonderful Barça and Inter days? That guy would have MURDERED the Premier League. By the way, today he broke the 300-goals barrier with clubs: I have a word for this guy, and this word is LEGEND.
  12. So much better than Ivanovic it's not even funny.
  13. In that position, I'm not afraid to say I prefer him over both Mikel and Ramires.
  14. Mata is class '88, and he is also class in football terms: I find the fact he must leave totally disappointing, no matter what...
  15. If you say average I agree with you: aside from the goal, he played way better in other games and I've also said it in his topic. If, on the other hand, the word is pathetic, then I disagree. Average =/= Pathetic.
  16. Great performance: top quality and hard work all over the pitch.
  17. Liverpool is nothing without Suarez; yes, you may not like him personally, but he is some player. Today he did nothing special, but against City, even if he didn't score, he was sublime. For me, world's best forward right now.
  18. Actually this is not dive, because there really is a contact, but it happens when Suarez hasn't the ball in his feet: indeed he already lost it before. Anyway yes, forget it: victory for Chelsea after a well-played game; that's all that matters.
  19. I agree again with you: he gave all and ran a lot with right movements, but he wasn't so much involved in the game. Anyway, I like your way: you always tell what it really is, without bullshit or biased hatred.
  20. Suarez was already without the ball: when the contact happened, the ball was already in Chelsea's feet, more than a meter away. Eto'o has been reckless, yes, but I only see in it the positive intention to help a teammate. Too much hype for nothing.
  21. Guess Drogba was an idiot as well against Barcelona, with that penalty-gift to Barcelona, no? Or, again Drogba, he made a stupid foul that cost his team a penalty against Senegal during 2014 WC qualifying; two times idiot, don't you think? The truth is that when a striker comes back to help defending is always a display of commitment: Oscar negligently lost the ball and Eto'o made all the pitch in reverse in order to help defending; also, Suarez had already lost possession way before the contact, so how can it be a penalty without a ball... Eto'o gave everything on the pitch and came out with cramps; the only real stupid thing he did has been the foul of the Liverpool's goal: dangerous, useless and totally uncalled for. Finally, Eto'o performance is rated 7.2 out of 10 on WhoScored: yeah, really PATHETIC. Oh yes, his beautiful run against an injured defender endend with a pass to the keeper. Wow.
  22. MOTM, simply. He has the future in his hands.
