Just watched the Cahill incident on tv as I didn't get a good look at it in the ground. Absolutely shocking from him, he really needs to be given a bollocking from Jose for that, sometimes we don't help ourselves and situations like those are exactly that. Just got back from the game, knackered and hoarse but thoughts: - Diego worked his socks off today and deserved a goal, it took seeing him in the flesh to appreciate his movement off the ball. - Mikel was dreadful. - JT was phenomenal at the back, his distribution was quality as ever. - Chelsea fans leaving for another pint at 35 minutes gone pissed me off. - Hazard played very well and took his header well. - Chris Foy was a mixed bag, didn't see the diving incidents too well from where I was but I heard the tackle on Luis, I was worried for the dude. - Sub par performance but we won. Great to be at the bridge today, got involved in the chants more and enjoyed the day!

I'M GOING TO THIS ONE! First game I'm going to this season and cannot wait, it's been a while since I entered the home of football. Going up with my dad and my uncle who have been Chelsea fans since the 70's. Gutted about Fabregas but I am excited to see Diego, Matic and co. in the flesh. This NEEDS to be a wake up call. 1. Branislav Ivanovic is NOT. REPEAT NOT a full back. Cesar and Filipe (further proved by his performance at the end) should be our starting pair with Brana moving into centre half where I feel he's best. 2. Play Remy. 3. Mikel played fucking well despite the result. 4. Drogba has proven to be a great signing. 5. Intricate passing along the penalty box will not create goals against these sides, we looked threatening when we started to lump balls in. Back in Mourinho's first spell we had that plan B and used it well, we still have it with the re-signing of Drog but are not using it enough. 6. ROTATE ROTATE ROTATE.
