Eto'o was pretty poor again last night, didnt do alot, should have scored very early. I often think he looks confused as to where he is to be, and when he gets the ball sadly there is some dribbling, then losing the ball. We shall see hope he improves. I was watching old Chelsea dvd, him playing for Inter, solid, we need that Eto'o back.

What a goal that was. Really happy for him, that is the Mata we know and love. We need everyone firing on all cylinders if we are win this year. I really feel the team is building, growing and what a week, beating City then Arsenal. I was really proud of them last night.

I thought he was very solid, again having had little game time. I really was pretty astounded at how well the team played considering two big games at once, and Arsenal had all their heavy hitters. Is Jose putting something in our water, we are a f***** steamroller crushing all teams as we go. Hope we keep it up, as they say its not where you start but where you finish.

Everytime I see Mata talking he seems very humble. Decent bloke. I was really happy, great goal he got. I think considering we just played City, then Arsenal, and we didnt have first team on. WE WERE A BEAST...COME ON CHELSEA!!!!

He was ok, not a performance you would see him replace any of the others, but he is very young, a good prospect I think.

I was hoping he would have a strong match, to perhaps force his way back in the team. I like him. I thought he had a good performance,he really worked hard. It does seem obvious that he has been told to not go forward as he was doing, as he was constantly going backwards. Shame really I liked his goals. He must have been thinking Azpi can score??

I have to agree, it was like I was watching the goal go in, they thought wait that was Dave, I literally couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it was Azpi that had scored. I did also think how did he get there? It was brilliant, I was so chuffed for him. I loved how Jose ran and hugged him after, and he was so chuffed in the post match interview, bless him.

I thought he had a fairly strong game, was pretty quick thinking and solid. Good performance last night.

I really feel there is such a sense of unity and real drive with Jose. As I said watching him hugging all the players at the end. He really does care, he really does believe in us, and I really felt last night with him at the helm, we are on a great road. He has brought such passion back and we could not be luckier. I just Roman really gives him a chance this time.

Bit late on here, was out so had to tape the game and watched it just now. Wow I have to say I was super impressed. If I am honest, I feared we might lose, Arsenal have been very very strong recently. They put on pretty much their first team, and although I love all the people that were on for Chelsea and are brilliant. There were some people who really havent had a lot of game time. Despite this I was very happy to see, we dominated possession, we had so many shots. Dave's goal was brilliant bless him. Then Mata's was a rocket. Then when they put on even better players, Ozil etc, I really wee bit anxious but we totally controlled it, he hardly had a shot. I was really proud of everyone, great team performance. Pretty much everyone did really well. Schwarzer was solid, particularly how little game time he has had. I did think hmmm when I saw Eto'o on and he wasn't great again.. we shall see. However really proud of everyone. It was great hearing Jose's name and the cheering. Then watching him come onto the pitch hugging everyone. I just felt this really could be our year.

When you think back to some bad injuries he had few years ago, he was lucky to come back and he did and has been great for us. I may question some of his life choices but hes a great player.
