I really loved this guy.........................When he was a United player For us he's been about as useless as a one legged cat trying to fish in a frozen lake
-
This game is very winnable. Confidence and form are starting to return to the team. If Hazard is up for it and Fabregas can keep putting in the through balls we will win. But a huge backward step should we lose. We are still fragile
-
No longer a football club, but a cut throat business. John has played his part in this though by speaking out now, but at 35 and at the end of the season there may be no takers. So he's now in the "shop window" for all to see until the season ends. My own feeling is that he should not be allowed to leave, but should be offered a coaching role within the club, just like Giggs at United. The mans experience is invaluable and he is being allowed to go. Poor move if you ask me.......I sometimes fear we are losing our identity as a club. Fans revere the players and promote them to cult status, then the big-wigs just drum them out of the club........Sad..Very sad. Loyalty (especially like John has given us) should be rewarded, not discarded
-
This lad will be pure class. John Terry may just hang up his boots now as he wont get a look in with this guy in our ranks. Oh and I'm not called Walter Mitty for nothing Would really love to be proved right though, but I doubt it. Is he any relation to that old oriental guy out of the original Karate Kid?????????????? Oh sorry that was Mr Miagi
-
Wouldn't you if you won the lottery From south american has-been to the Premier Champions. I am seriously thinking of pulling on the old boots again as you never know.....I could be spotted by our scouts who might see my potential, and it seems like we have money to throw away on has-beens....I fit the bill perfectly
-
In Brazil he was sent out on loan from his parent club before Chelsea took him.........Doesn't bode well I fear, but hey its not the first calamatous striker we have taken in
-
Please oh please prove me wrong.......But to me this is just another washed up, high profile name looking for a final big payday at our expense. I hope he doesn't join our ever growing list of failures up front like Falcao and Torres. Two guys who some years ago were the top dogs and now couldn't kick snow off a rope!!!! I wish him all the very best, but I think he has had his day some years ago and has not hit those heights since.
-
Always felt he was just one step away from being sent off or commiting an horrendous tackle to cost us a penalty. Therefore I would think now is the time for him to leave and at £25 million ? well, take it and run
-
Robdog mate.........This was bloody priceless!!!!! I dont think I laughed this much in years. Tears actually streamed down my face laughing at that guys rant. I have a feeling polite conversation with the wife was off the menu last night!!!!!!!!
-
Must also give a huge thumbs up to the travelling support today. They were all I could hear on the TV. Only time I heard Arsenal supporters was when they booed Costa and Fabregas. (Well I suppose they didn't have much to sing about!!!!!) Truly amazing support Chelsea....Well done guys (and Gals)
-
Well at least if the Arse do win the title, we can at least say that we, in no way helped them at all. And on the flip side, we would be mightily close to the relegation zone without those priceless six points. Thank You Mr Wenger.....I really think you are a closet Chelsea fan
-
Totally agree about Remy. Showed why he is not worth a starting spot even when Costa is injured. His lack of awareness for the offside was unbelievable and he must have concrete boots on because his control was rubbish. But I disagree about Hazard, I felt it took him a while to adjust but he did at least try and laid off some neat passes. Really though, fuck it, we won, Wenger hates the living sight of Costa. You could actually see him trying to digest those sour grapes in his post match interview..Priceless. We need to build on this now. No point in going out and drawing our next game. We need to push on and win. But for the next week I will bask in the glow of beating those whinging shower of overrated wasters. Hope they win sod all....every season
-
Neither of these players (Pato and Lavezzi) will enhance the current squad. I would much rather play the youngsters than buy these two overrated, overpaid and over-the-hill players. Anyway we are trying to strengten at the wrong end of the pitch........It's our defence thats a joke!!!!!
-
I dont think we will buy anyone in this transfer window. The players we want wont join us with the prospect of no European football next season and without a new manager being named either. If you were a star player would you come to a club with no manager and no European football? I don't think so
-
Have to admit I did.........Otherwise my boot would have went through the screen But, but,but Ivanovich drove me to it
-
Epic game.....But strangely it feels like a defeat to me. We were well on top and had the winning of this game until the Ivanovich and Zouma had a massive brainfart for their third goal. WTF were they at????? I lost my rag after that goal, but before that I felt the longer the game went on that we were getting stronger. So Terry scoring was the very least we deserved from the game, that being the reason I am a tad dissapointed
-
Oh no you shouldn't !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Ivanovich is a bloody joke. Switched off completely for the corner. TWO Everton players on the back post and not a defender in sight. Fucking Sunday morning defending. Our defence is a joke, an absolute joke. Ivanovich please fuck off at the end of the season.
-
My God...........I'm shocked that so many of our own fans are predicting a defeat against Everton !!!!!!! I am not judging them, but WTF guys...Lets have a bit of positivity here. This is Everton and they are no super-team.(I know, neither are we) but I still think we will have enough to beat them. Granted, we are not playing well or consistantly but we are on an unbeaten run, albeit a very short one, but I really think we will beat the Toffees. They are by no means a top side and are happy to be floating around mid table. That is their level of ambition. We, on the hand are an ambitious side, hence the pure anger and dissapointment at our season so far. Our players know they are better players the what they've shown so far, and they will want to prove that to the fans (whether they are at the game or watching on the TV). A few of them also know that their time at Chelsea will be up if they don't improve, and soon. So hopefully, performances will improve, if only a bit at a time along with confidence and maybe just maybe we can finish in the top half, and above the likes of Everton who really are just fodder for bigger sides. 2-1 to us......And the long march upwards just might take off in earnest.
-
Pedro has not enhanced this squad one bit. Tonight he cost us the first goal, and he all round general play was pathetic. Taking Fabregas off and bringing on Matic was a pivotal moment which proved costly for us. We were coping fine and attacking before that. I would have expected that tactic from Mourinho, but not from Gus. Cost us two valuable points. But realistically, a draw against WBA is the level we are currently at, We have shown nothing out of the ordinary to prove to me that a genuine top four charge is possible. If we finish in the top ten that is about the best we can hope for now....And a miracle in the cups, because currently this team has no edge.
-
Thiis will be a tricky enough tie. But I think we will triumph 2-0. Would really build confidence if we can keep another clean sheet and score a couple. But I just hope Ramires doesn't start. The guy is starting to be a liability in our own penalty box. If Oscar is out I would like to see RLC given a start. Lets get a good look at what he may bring to the team
-
We won the match, RLC, Kenedy and Traore got a run and we kept a clean sheet,,,Job done, now for round four. I know people are saying it was a bit of a flat performance after we scored the first, but in all honesty what did we expect? I felt that we could have steamrollered this lot if we wanted, and that we never needed to get out of second gear. It was a good solid performance without having to overstretch ourselves. They never threatened our goal at all, and as for the penalty shout? Whether they got it or not would have made no difference to the outcome. We may have won by even more had it been given and scored. But what it did show was the ill-dicipline of Ramires who at times can be a liability. Bring on round four
-
Cant see Pep coming to Chelsea. Too much bad blood following his days with Barca. I'd love to see him come but I think we may have burned that bridge some years ago
-
Bit of a shaky start, but we deserved the victory. Costa back to his best. Willian had a quiet first half but he exploded in the second. My man of the match is a player who I have condemned on numerous occasions in the past, and that was John Obe Mikel. I thought he brought a bit of steadiness to the team and was rock solid. He was immense and thoroughly deserved his start. Lets keep this going and you never know, we might even make the top half!!!!!!
-
I would love to see Bamford given a game. OK he's inelegible against Palace, but he should be given a run in the first team. Falcao is not one for the future, looks like Remy has had enough, so lets give the guy a chance off the bench soon. In all fairness, can he do any worse than Falcao who is costing us an arm and a leg? As for the Palace game.....Dont play a false nine, it doesn't work...Shows the opposition our hand and when we play it we dont score. I seriously think we can get a result at Palace, but we must play Costa up front. Courtois Aspi Zouma Terry Baba Matic Fabregas Willian Hazard Pedro Costa I'm going to give Fabregas ONE LAST CHANCE to prove he's the star he's paid to be........DONT LET ME DOWN!!!!!!!!!!
