Well I'm wondering why they turned on him? Did he shackle them too much with defensive duties and stifle their natural ability? Was he too much of a disiplinarian? Did they feel the tactics were all wrong for the team? Or perhaps all three!! For me,when players are not happy, it is impossible for them to give 100%. Yes I agree with you.....But perhaps they were allowed to play with a little more freedom, with less defensive duties to carry out? I did see a lot more Chelsea players getting into the box and shooting more frequently too, although our defensive frailities are still there for all to see also At the end of the day it'd not about Jose or the players. It's about Chelsea..It's the club we all support. :blue scalf:

Totally agree with you Cosmin. But can I add that it's now time to draw a line under this farce. Jose'e gone, A new Chelsea dawn is about to begin, so lets all get behind the team, and can we all stop please turning this into a witchunt. Why do we feel the need to throw someone else under the bus? As you said mate, the manager had lost the dressing room and he, untimately had to shoulder the blame.

Mr Guardiola (as I agree with Rhino Skin for once ) would be nice, but that is only a short term fix for 3 years...Mr Simieone for me........He'd boot out the primadonna's and put some steel into our side, plus play some good football while introducing our youth.

I was one who has been calling for Jose to go. But yes. it's a bit sad and the end of an era. I just want to see us gain some stability, start playing decent football, and see some of our splendid youth getting into the team instead of some of our present primadonna's. I now await the arrival of our new manager......and I really hope it's not that oaf Ramos, as has been mooted by some members of the media.
