Obviously. It's way overrated. At least we know ours is sucky.
-
Yeah, that means none of the Chelsea youth has been good enough to play in the past ten years or so. Either there's something really wrong with how they are trained or they're not getting any chance to prove themselves. Literally no one got regular first team football. Mourinho is about as good for teenage football players as a knee fracture.
-
Thielemans got better, has a title and about 12 CL matches on his name, and is followed by every major club.
-
Well, he could have, would he have stayed in Anderlecht, then you Chelsea would have paid 20 million for him after 2 years, like they did for Lukaku. We need the dough, bro.
-
Well, better sell him quickly now! We might actually see him play a fucking game.
-
Ludicrous statement. Only in the 13/14 season did he score more goals than those two (and 3 more than Aguero in 12/13). They beat him in every season besides that one. In 12/13 he scored 20 goals, but only 10 in the Primera division and the rest in the Europa League, something you downgrade Lukaku's stats for. You're nothing but a troll.
-
He just called Chelsea a nice intermediate step in his career.
-
We'll see dude, we'll see.
-
He has two years left before he'll be 24+. You seem to ignore that. Also, Drogba was 26 before he came here. You could even argue that Atletico only became a top team again 3 years ago, which would make Costa 24+ before reaching that level as well.
-
Yes, because unlike you, none of us can look into the future.
-
This guy is going for the world record of saying the same exact thing in as many different ways as possible. Come on dude, four more to go and it's yours!
-
He went on loan when Eto'o was brought in, he was sold when Costa was a target. Your timetable is wrong. And all that 'Mickey Mouse' team is above Chelsea in the league right now and ended in fifth or six place in Lukaku's first year there, so Mickey Mouse is pretty relative. You know who was playing for 'Mickey Mouse' teams at Lukaku's age? Drogba. Ronaldo walked right into the Man Utd team because Beckham left and he's an incredible talent. Don't compare his situation to Lukaku's. Playing lots of first team games at a decent level is key to developing young talent. If Ronaldo had spend 3 years on the bench, he would have needed longer to get at the level where he is now.
-
They were already talking with Costa before he signed for Everton. Obviously Costa would have been first choice, this would have meant playing league cup games and getting the occasional 30 minutes to prove his worth. Kind of pointless. He's learning much more now and made a smart move.
-
Maybe, but it doesn't seem to be a player who would stop training hard when he doesn't get chances. His character is very strong. Probably had a couple of words with Mourinho and it costed him...
-
Well, that can either be true, or Mourinho is full of shit. No other manager ever complained about KDB's training spirit, on the contrary...
-
These financial fines are just retarded in contemporary football. 'Oh no! 50.000 pounds!? Well... take it from the pile in the corner boys.'
-
Belgium will play Italy and Spain next month. I'm very curious about what will happen. The only so called top team we played since the World Cup was France and we made fun of them. It was easier for us against France than against Cyprus. We destroy offensive teams, we have incredible trouble with defensive ones.
-
Well, actually they were both able to dodge each other for years, fighting lesser competitors to rack up the wins. They should have fought ten years ago but didn't need to. That's why boxing is a marginalized sport these days. They have what, 10 heavyweight champions or so? I lost count. ;-)
-
I guess now he's the worst player in history again because he almost made two goals but didn't. Let's wait until next week when he scores two and is the greatest young striker on the planet again.
-
You're forgetting the assist that didn't get a goal. Dude handed out some terrific passes tonight. Hazard was great as well. Finally getting to his usual level again.
-
Wilmots is not a decent manager, he's a bad manager.
-
Dudes, the Ronaldo thing was just an example. A manager shouldn't earn 13,5 million. Better to strenghten your team with some top class players. Also, yes, the previous managers couldn't win Chelsea the league (they won the CL though, but ok, as underdogs). Was Chelsea the strongest team in the PL? Playerwise? At the time? If the Chelsea players obviously stood out from the other teams: yes, you should have won some more titles, if not: luck and other team's performances are also an issue. My basic point was that current Mourinho (and LVG for all I care) is overrated, makes teams play worse football, has clear favorites and doesn't know what to do when shit happens. Chelsea won the league in 4 months last year. I said it before, if Hazard would not have been there to carry the attack by himself for months and if all of the other contenders wouldn't have choked massively, he would have failed last year as well. Honestly, there hasn't been a single good game against a decent opponent since early this year.
-
I'm not saying that. I'm saying any decent manager will do. Still, got no examples of Mourinho's attributions to the team. ;-)
-
Explain to me what he added to the team. Give me a practical example. Did he make them play better football? Are they more secure? Did he put the right guys on the right spot? Did he bring some nice patterns with him? Fluent attacks? A nice atmosphere in the dressing room? A positive image for the club? Most managers are completely interchangeable. Did Van Gaal do a better job than Moyes for example? Van Gaal got a couple of € 100 million of new players. Moyes got Fellaini. They were arguably even worse last year. Play like complete shit.
-
It was an example ffs. Players win you trophies, managers make you think they make you win trophies. They might make a difference yes. José is making a negative difference, that's for sure. Give Ferguson or Guardiola 11 donkeys and they win exactly nothing. And here comes the "what do you mean, YOU? Are you not a CHELSEA fan!!!?" argument again. ^^
