You know who was playing for 'Mickey Mouse' teams at Lukaku's age? Drogba. Ronaldo walked right into the Man Utd team because Beckham left and he's an incredible talent. Don't compare his situation to Lukaku's. Playing lots of first team games at a decent level is key to developing young talent. If Ronaldo had spend 3 years on the bench, he would have needed longer to get at the level where he is now.
