    • I would have been happy if we got him - we clearly need a striker to rotate Jackson with - but not as high earner.  Gyokeres is interesting if the club can push for him - seems to be the better striker on the market compared to Delap, Sesko, Ferguson, Boniface etc we have been linked to. Duran and Isak are options too but it's tough to sign them. 
    • He was available for reasonable money (£50-60M); his wages proved to be the stumbling block. I believe he was worth breaking the bank for a year or so ago, but things have changed since. Would you be happy with the club spending £80m+ on Gyokeres instead? United have Ramus and bought Zirkzee; PSG have Ramos & Kolo Muani, so that leaves one of the three you mentioned as a viable option. His contract ends next summer, so I'm sure there will be more suitors in the coming months. However, m
    • I would argue he is. For reasonable money, I'd take him but not break the bank for him. He is not in the tier of players that you would pay over the odds to get Many teams wanted a striker in the summer - ManU, Arsenal, PSG and didn't go for him - other than the Saudi bids. Would be surprised if a big club goes for him for the main striker role.
