Should have got Senesi. Would have made the rest of the season so much more promising having both him and Sarr arriving.
-
Axel Disasi's loan move to West Ham has been described as “complicated” in the last half hour. (@JacobSteinberg)
-
Kante won the league before we got him

City's 3-man shortlist for Guardiola replacement is Alonso, Maresca and Fabregas. Source - Matt Law
-
Yeah, like Kante and Drogba before we bought them..
- Today
-
My mistake. Yeah we need the next CB signing to be left footed or able to play LCB like Guehi
-
I continue to wonder if Rosenior will deploy 3 CB’s more often with Sarr joining. Sarr central with Trev and Fofana either side of him if we need some extra defensive steel.
-
Disasi has given the green light to WHU Mateta will not join AC Milan
-
Sarr is a right-footer. Colwill is still out for months and we have no idea if he ever fully recovers. Badi is SHIT, never was good enough, a terrible buy. Hato is (at CB) for emergency only. I do not see him being a CB answer. We are, atm, absolutely fucked in terms of left-footed true CBs. It is the most glaring issue on the team, and we have a lot of issues atm.
-
not gonna lose sleep over this jaquet guy who i first heard about last week. and especially not for 70m pounds. he literally played ligue 2 this time last year.
-
May as well get rid of Josh, he is now further down the pecking order Sat behind Tosin, Badshit, Trev, Sarr and Fofana
-
Don't we have Colwill and Mamadou Sarr? + Badiashile and also Hato able to play there in emergency situations
-
Absolutely need to prioritize a wide forward in the quality level of Kvara/Barcola/Semenyo Someone who can come in and play at Premier League level right away
-
By all accounts, both Chelsea and Liverpool offers were the same. Jacket changed his mind after we kept Josh and recalled Sarr. Liverpool have just VVD and Konate at CB and Konate is out of contract in June as it stands.

I approve of this, IF it is for a fair price. Tylel Tati (just turned 18, and is 1.92m) is the 3rd best 20yo and under LEFT-FOOTED CB option out there IMHO, after Honest Ahanor (who is too young by 21 days to come now this window and, unless he is still growing, is going to top out at only 1.84m, so lacks the height I prefer for the EPL) and Karim Coulibaly (turns 19yo right at this season's end, and is 1.91m). Also, because these are all so young, Tati could easily end up being the best of the three. Hard to call it now, but wow do we need a left-footed CB. As I have said so many times, I wanted the veteran Senesi, but BlueCo just refuses to buy players his age, which is madness. Tati Ahanor Coulibaly
-
We don't and won't buy a new winger, we have Neto, Garnacho, Estevao, Palmer, Mudryk if you counting him as a number all that can play there. Plus if we need someone we go to Strasbourg before going anywhere

Good news

💥Jamie Gittens has a hamstring injury, confirms Rosenior. We need a replacement wing player.

Yes, and the reason was super simple and obvious: the recall of Mamadou Sarr and the big verbal and financial (financial as in regusal to sell or loan) backing of Josh. Add in Trevoh, Wes Fofana, plus the utterly turgid, shambolic (but BlueCo pet) Tosin.... and Jacquet would make it SIX right footed CBs we would be carrying, 7 next summer if you add in Anselmino (and I am not even counting the horrific trainwreck known as Disasi Disaster). Meanwhile, we did FUCKALL to adress the far more dire need, aka a decent left-footed CB. We only have (healthy) the utter shite Badi. If Colwill never fully recovers (what I call becoming a Wes Fofana) we are simply rat-fucked at LCB. I simoly do not see Hato as a viable EPL CB, at least for now, especially in a back 4. LB yes, CB no. BlueCo somehow manage to make FOUR of the worst expensive CB buys in the club's history, all of which I went bonkers over as soon as we bought them: KK We waited at least 5, 6 YEARS too long to buy him and then spent £33m plus an insane £295K PW gross salary. At least we sold him, albeit at a massive loss. Badi trash, always was Disasi trash, always was Wes Fofana Insane we paid £75m for an obviously perma-wrecked player (ie no longer ever going to be WC again after the Leicester horrorshow leg break). £179.2m in gross transfer fees AND then add in the salaries. Shambolic.

The club must be super confident that either Lavia or Essugo are close to returning AND that one or both will remain fit. Because it’s still really weird how we clearly wanted a midfielder last week, didn’t get that particular one, and now are clearly not getting anyone. An injury or more disciplinary trouble for Caicedo could completely derail our season. If Romeo is fit (lol) then we’re good but tht never happens.
-
If Sarr is better than JJ then why did we go for JJ and then decide to bring Sarr back? We all know the answer, we didn't want to cough up 60M (approx) and saved money, so what if Sarr comes in and hardly plays? pointless bringing him back, and what if he comes and is shite? Zero guarantee because he has looked good for club and country that he comes in and is next level in the PL How about instead of loaning every fucker to Strasbourg give them a chance, I mean if we are buying them in the first place and they are good enough, use them.
-
maybe sarr is better than jacquet

I don't expect every transfer to go smoothly, I expect us if we going for someone we are going for them with a reason and to get them. Far too many times now we seem to get in transfer wars with other teams and we walk away as opposed to fight for a player. This is why I keep saying until I am blue in the face is we would now sooner fetch back loans from Strasbourg and the moment these players cannot handle the PL and people are up in arms about how shite we are in that said position. I will be back time after time to say 'I told you so' when we have scrimped and walked away from a transfer to fetch a loan back, why didn't we keep Sarr in the first place? I tell you why, It's simple, because we thought, when we actually knew that Tosin and Badiashille are simply not good enough. Instead we fuck about with players heads, sending them out on loan, to then rip the heart out of the team they are playing for, upset the player by pulling the plug to then panic, bring them back, then not have a fucking clue what we will do with them and send them to a club we have just ripped another player from. This club now has a buy cheap buy twice policy, it's hurting us as a team and the players we are buying
